Frequently asked questions

How do pimple patches work?

“Pimple patches are essentially small adhesive bandages placed over pimples to encourage them to resolve as quickly as possible,” says Adarsh Vijay Mudgil, MD, a board-certified dermatologist and founder of New York City’s Mudgil Dermatology. “They’re made using hydrocolloid material, which draws moisture out of the underlying area, while some contain benzoyl peroxide and/or salicylic acid, classic acne-fighting ingredients that help exfoliate the underlying pimple.”

While they can help shrink pimples, they’re not a miracle solution for all acne concerns, says Pooja Rambhia, MD, a board-certified dermatologist at Union Derm in New Jersey. “While patches offer targeted spot treatment for individual blemishes, truly effective acne management requires a board-certified dermatologist’s expertise to diagnose your specific type of acne, prescribe appropriate medications, and create a personalized acne treatment plan addressing the root cause that no patch alone can provide.” Hadley King, MD, a board-certified dermatologist based in NYC, echoes this sentiment and shares that pimple patches are most effective on superficial acne. “They are less likely to be helpful for deeper, more cystic lesions,” she says.

What do pimple patches pull out?

According to Dr. King, hydrocolloid pimple patches pull out oil and carry dirt away from the pimple. “These impurities are then turned into a gel-like substance that sticks to the patch,” she says. While stuck to the skin, they also have the added benefit of preventing you from picking or trying to pop the pimple, she says: “This is good because picking a pimple increases inflammation and healing time and increases risk for infection, discoloration, and scarring.”

How often can you use a pimple patch?

“Pimple patches can generally be used as needed when active blemishes appear,” says Dr. Rambhia, but for optimal results, she recommends replacing a pimple patch every 6-12 hours or once they turn white or opaque, which indicates that they’ve absorbed excess fluid. “Most patches can be worn overnight or throughout the day until the blemish has flattened and reduced in redness. If you’re treating the same spot consecutively, allow your skin brief breaks between applications to breathe and recover.”

The experts say not to use a pimple patch on skin that is broken or severely irritated. “They should also not be used over an anti-acne ingredient like a retinoid or benzoyl peroxide, as the occlusion can increase the potential for irritation,” says Marisa Garshick, MD, a board-certified dermatologist at MDCS Dermatology. They should never be used on pimples that are open or bleeding, and if you have sensitive skin, it’s best to proceed with caution and check with your dermatologist.

How do dermatologists recommend using them?

Long story short: Many dermatologists enthusiastically recommend using pimple patches. “While they won’t treat the root causes of acne like clogged pores, hormones, or excess oil, they are great for healing existing breakouts—especially whiteheads and picked pimples,” Dr. Gohara shares. “Think of them as tiny bandages that create a moist environment to help the skin repair itself while keeping fingers out of the way. We typically recommend using them on already inflamed pimples or spots that have been opened (or picked—hey, it happens).” Be sure your face is completely washed and cleaned before application to guarantee a sanitary surface. Since the patches are occlusive, any dirt and grime underneath them can cause further irritation or worsen breakouts.

Do pimple patches work on unpopped pimples?

“Pimple patches can work on unpopped pimples—but with caveats,” says Dr. Gohara. Pimple patches are most effective on surface-level acne, like whiteheads or pustules. On deeper, under-the-skin pimples (think painful cysts), they’re less likely to extract anything.

She says that while you shouldn’t expect gooey extractions with those blemishes, the patches can “still reduce irritation and protect the area from bacteria and picking.” She adds that “some versions now include microdarts or infused ingredients (like salicylic acid or tea tree oil), which may help penetrate a bit deeper—but they’re not a replacement for a comprehensive acne treatment plan.”

Is there a downside to pimple patches?

There are a few things to consider when using pimple patches, says Maryam Safaee, MD, FAAD, a board-certified dermatologist based in California. First, they may cause allergic contact dermatitis, which is irritation around the pimple, often from the adhesive used in the patch. Second, they could potentially worsen acne, depending on its type. “In some cases, the occlusive nature of the patch can exacerbate bacterial overgrowth and may in turn worsen the acute acne lesion,” she says. If either occurs, stop using the patches immediately and visit your board-certified dermatologist for the best treatment.

We tested pimple patches by evaluating the ingredients, how well they stayed on, and whether they effectively reduced our breakouts. We favored dermatologist-recommended formulas with acne-fighting ingredients like salicylic acid and hydrocolloid (an absorbent material that draws fluid from a wound). We followed the instructions and wore them for at least two hours or overnight, depending on the patch and our type of breakout. We checked if it left sticky residue after each wear. The ones that made this list helped reduce the inflammation of pimples or zits and made our overall complexion less irritated over one or two uses.

Go Dodgers! Fox’s coverage of the 2025

Bill Gates recently shunned current TV offerings at the World Economic Forum saying that the internet is the future. In Bill’s words:

“I’m stunned how people aren’t seeing that with TV, in five years from now, people will laugh at what we’ve had.”

Bill Gates recently appeared on the Daily Show on Comedy Central (video below) and continued to stress that current TV is nothing compared to what the internet will offer.

Microsoft is already well placed in the TV industry offering IPTV middleware, the Xbox Live Marketplace for video downloads to the Xbox 360, and Media Center PCs.

The most exciting development in the works is IPTV on the Xbox 360 which is probably what Bill Gates is actually warming us up for here (without directly mentioning it). But IPTV on the Xbox 360 will actually be very similar to a cable or satellite subscription service and not something that will connect you with the world of internet television.

It will however harness on the capabilities of internet protocol and probably bring community features, video on demand etc. From what Bill Gates said on the Daily Show you will be able to go directly to the content you want, probably using some sort of tagging function. For example, if you had recorded the Olympics you could go directly to the swimming event by searching for the tag swimming.

But let’s be fair how often are keyword tags in videos going to be useful in everyday viewing? As Jon Stewart said on The Daily Show, “TV is passive”.

More TV Content, Higher Quality, More Freedom.

What people really want from a TV service is:

  • Content
  • Content
  • Content
  • To be able to choose when to watch it
  • To be able to choose where to watch it
  • Improved quality of content.

TiVo took the industry by storm because it allowed people to more easily choose when they watch a TV show. Media extenders such as the new Apple TV are getting very popular because they let people choose where they watch TV (within their house), same with the Slingbox. HDTV is also kicking off because it improves the quality of content.

Someone entering the TV market needs to either:

  1. Give people more freedom over when and when they watch the TV and video they have access to already (e.g TiVo, Apple TV, Slingbox) or,
  2. Provide content in higher quality (e.g HDNet) or,
  3. Provide more content (Satellite and Cable).

Microsoft won’t be able to get enough video content

TV Networks are already locked in tight agreements with content owners and it is well recognized that new companies entering the TV market will have a very tough time getting content.

A recent study from Accenture shows that Telecommunication companies that offer broadband and are trying to leverage themselves as an IPTV provider, are extremely worried about acquiring content, in fact that is their biggest fear.

It is for this reason that Microsoft will not become a TV network. Instead it will continue as a providor of middleware software for IPTV services. In fact the Xbox IPTV service only works with a third party IPTV providor that uses the Microsoft IPTV platform. So its not Microsoft TV, its someone other company using Microsoft technology to deliver it to your TV set with an option of using the Xbox 360 as a DVR.

Bill Gates on The Daily Show

The video below shows Bill Gates talking about the release of Vista, and also talking about the Future of TV near the end of the video.

Bill Gates recently shunned current TV offerings

A regrettable swing-and-miss for Oscar winner Brendan Fraser, who stars as General Dwight D. Eisenhower, “Pressure” opens with a genuinely arresting image. It’s a bird’s-eye view of countless bloody bodies scattered across a beach following Operation Tiger: the disastrous Allied rehearsal for D-Day that left hundreds of men dead weeks before the real invasion of Normandy ever began.

For that brief moment, filmmaker Anthony Maras seems poised to make something politically urgent and even psychologically immersive from one of World War II’s most pivotal strategic decisions. The film‘s uneven script, adapted by Maras and co-writer David Haig from Haig’s 2014 play, aims to artfully transform weather forecasting into a philosophical battlefield with impossible global stakes.

Instead, “Pressure” gradually collapses into a weirdly melodramatic chamber piece that never quite justifies its otherwise breathtaking sense of cinematic scale. Set in the days immediately leading up to D-Day, Focus Features’ new war drama centers on Royal Air Force Group Captain James Stagg (Andrew Scott), U.S. Army Air Forces Lieutenant Colonel Irving P. Krick (Chris Messina), and the two odd-couple meteorologists’ small team of scientists stationed at Southwick House near Portsmouth, England.

The military men are tasked with advising General Eisenhower (Fraser) on the air and sea conditions surrounding the Allies’ key advance in the summer of 1944. Krick, a swaggering and singing(!) American forecaster, who gets introduced like he just wandered in from a winning “Mary Poppins Returns” audition, argues for optimism to a fault. Cherry-picking favorable year-over-year weather patterns to justify moving ahead with the invasion on June 5, Krick wants to tell Eisenhower that D-Day is a “go.”

But opposing him is Stagg, a Scottish, stick-in-the-mud academic (which is saying a lot by most weather men’s personality standards), who insists on making the team’s joint recommendation exclusively using the current observational data available to Allied forces. Soon, Stagg predicts not one but two incoming storms headed straight for the French coast, and he won’t budge on his professional opinion — even if it means Eisenhower has to delay the West’s crucial invasion until as late as June 18.

There’s something compelling buried in that dynamic as “Pressure” fascinates itself with the inherent conflict between historical precedent and current reality. Feeling the seductive comfort of the cycles we only think we know clash against the terrifying uncertainty of the present moment will no doubt be unsettlingly familiar for some modern viewers. But flanked by a dozen or so time-lapse cloud sequences, Maras and his cast strain toward a kind of biblical grandeur their painfully effortful film can’t reach.

In “Pressure,” Fraser, Scott, and Messina don’t just disagree with each other, but instead, repeatedly bellow their competing mission statements across the same handful of sets like a troupe of exhausted drama students stuck in an endless line-reading exercise. “There is only ONE chief meteorological officer!,” Scott roars, anchoring one of several awkward encounters with Messina that feel something akin to a weirdly bookish “Highlander” ripoff. Later, Fraser’s Eisenhower explodes, too, screaming, “I want a forecast you two agree on!” Even in context, the scene is silly and inadvertently suggests such a low level of interpersonal conflict that it seems better mediated by a babysitter than the eventual 34th president.

What might have played effectively live on stage feels brutally stilted and over-egged here, especially as Maras surrounds his and Haig’s weakest material with the visual language of prestige cinema. “Pressure” becomes increasingly frustrating as huge portions are beautifully crafted and cinematographer Jamie D. Ramsay gives the film’s limited handful of battlefield scenes a tactile, rain-soaked quality that’s admirably reminiscent of superior period dramas, like “All Quiet on the Western Front” and “Dunkirk.”

PRESSURE, 2026. ph: Alex Bailey / © Focus Features / courtesy Everett Collection

The costumes in “Pressure” are immaculate, and production design is richly imagined. But while Maras and his collaborators clearly know how to frame these events using impressive visual techniques, that sophistication struggles to connect emotionally as the acting and writing duke it out for the title of Bigger Disappointment. Even among Fraser’s die-hard fans, his portrayal of Eisenhower seems likely to prove a baffling liability. In fact, the performance is so egregiously underwhelming that any masochists who plan on seeing it anyway should probably look up clips of the real Eisenhower before hitting theaters.

Historically speaking, the Allied Supreme Commander wasn’t considered an angry brute so much as a steady diplomat who was capable of sudden, persuasive rage. And yet, despite being afforded a strong-enough platform to deliver a main character worth seeing, Fraser can’t begin to find the gravitas required to believably lead the free world. The “Pressure” star routinely drowns in the importance of the part itself, and Fraser has a tendency to swallow Eisenhower’s more politically savvy lines in a way that makes some of Maras and Haig’s best work turn muddy. Worse still, the wide-eyed vulnerability that served Fraser so well in “The Whale” works mysteriously against him here — giving off an empathetic vulnerability that’s plenty strong but ultimately doesn’t give the impression of authentic, weapons-grade authority.

During one particularly strange scene, Eisenhower coldly dismisses a staff member’s request to check on a patient at a nearby hospital. The encounter is ostensibly intended to demonstrate the kind of ruthless decisiveness that Eisenhower would have needed in wartime. But Fraser’s fundamentally gentle presence makes the outburst feel random instead of commanding, and his take on the man who ultimately decided when and where to invade Nazi-occupied France skews a smidge infantile as a result.

Scott fares much, much better, grounding the movie’s goofier dialogue in broadly credible conviction. His scenes with Kerry Condon, who appears as Eisenhower’s Irish secretary Kay Summersby, in particular crackle with a natural intelligence that seems reflective of the pair’s shared theater background in the U.K. Initially, Messina injects that more reserved chemistry with some needed energy and charisma, especially as Krick’s brash confidence needles Stagg beyond decorum. But even that comic tension threatens to rip as the painfully thin story repeatedly circles the same disputes without deepening them.

The overall narrative structure of “Pressure” doesn’t help matters much. Complete with countdown slates leading toward D-Day, Maras employs a ticking-clock framework that turns the precise date of the Normandy invasion into something like a twist. History buffs will appreciate the dramatic irony of seeing these irritated men argue among themselves about a date plenty of people know by heart, while others may be likelier to find themselves siding with Krick’s sunnier forecast just so the movie can end.

Regardless of how much you know about world history, that pacing problem sinks “Pressure” fast. Not every war film needs to reinvent the genre or be a critical masterpiece. But if your audience already knows the outcome of the dramatic question you’re posing, then the experience of watching those events unfold ought to reveal something deeper about humanity or the characters, at least. Instead, Maras and Haig’s adaptation feels like an elegantly mounted reenactment, swiftly dragged down by a gaggle of A-list actors forced to vamp anxiously — until the explosives team could finish setting up.

There are hints of a far better movie peeking out from Maras’ dull weather drama, and the Australian director nearly finds it on numerous occasions. But even supported by Scott’s broad tonal excellence and Fraser’s obvious (if misplaced) commitment, when “Pressure” finally approaches the beaches of Normandy, the attack sails past catharsis and lands like a mercy killing instead. Suffice to say, it’s an unfortunate misfire for everyone involved, and rain or shine, moviegoers should seek shelter elsewhere.

Grade: C

From Focus Features, “Pressure” is in theaters on Friday, May 29.

A regrettable swing-and-miss for Oscar winner Brendan

Bad Bunny’s Hollywood takeover is heading to infinity and beyond. Pixar announced today (May 26) that the Puerto Rican superstar has joined the voice cast of Toy Story 5, where he’ll play a new character called “Pizza with Sunglasses.” The reveal arrived via the studio’s Instagram account alongside a short animated teaser.

It’s the latest left turn in the ever-expanding screen career of Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, who in recent years has appeared in Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore 2 and Darren Aronofsky’s crime drama Caught Stealing opposite Austin Butler. He’s also slated to star in Porto Rico, the forthcoming feature from fellow musician Residente.

The Toy Story universe has actually been part of Bad Bunny lore for years. During the early months of the COVID lockdown in 2020, the artist began posting homemade Toy Story-inspired videos across social media using his personal collection of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Rex and Forky figures. The DIY mini-episodes — dubbed Toy Story in the Times of Coronavirus — featured Bunny hilariously voicing every character himself.

Toy Story 5 reunites franchise mainstays Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack as Woody, Buzz and Jessie, respectively. According to Pixar, the new installment centers on the toys struggling to compete for main character Bonnie’s attention in a world increasingly dominated by modern technology, including a new device called Lilypad.

The film opens June 19 in U.S. theaters.

There is a moment in every cross-border relationship when the initial excitement fades and the real work begins. Time zone differences that once seemed romantic become logistical puzzles. The charming language barrier transforms into genuine miscommunication. And yet, for those who persist, something remarkable often emerges – a partnership tested by distance and strengthened by the effort it demands.

What Draws People to International Dating

The reasons are as varied as the people involved. For those interested in dating Ukrainian women or connecting with partners from other cultures, the motivation often goes deeper than curiosity. Some feel their values align more closely with norms in other countries. Others have traveled extensively and discovered their most profound connections happened far from home.

Whatever the initial motivation, cross-cultural dating teaches lessons that domestic relationships rarely do. Partners develop sharper communication skills, greater empathy, and a broader worldview. They learn to express feelings clearly when idioms fail, and discover that love built on genuine effort feels different from love built on convenience.

Successful cross-border couples consistently point to these practices as foundations:

1. Scheduled communication rituals – committed couples establish daily video calls at consistent times, creating rhythm despite the distance.

2. Cultural exchange as a habit – cooking traditional dishes, learning phrases in each other’s language, and sharing music keeps curiosity alive.

3. Clear timeline discussions – long-distance relationships need a shared vision of when the distance will close. Avoiding this breeds uncertainty.

4. Separate social lives – maintaining friendships outside the relationship prevents making a distant partner your entire emotional world.

5. Purposeful visits – meeting families and handling mundane tasks together reveals compatibility better than romantic getaways.

The Role of Technology in Bridging Distance

A generation ago, maintaining a relationship across continents meant expensive calls and slow letters. Today, video calls create daily face-to-face moments and translation tools smooth language gaps. LuluDate has facilitated cross-border connections since 2016, focusing on verified profiles and tools addressing the specific challenges of international relationships.

When Cultures Clash and How to Navigate It

Disagreements in cross-cultural relationships often stem from unspoken cultural assumptions rather than personality differences. Attitudes toward family involvement, gender roles, financial management, and emotional expression vary significantly between cultures.

Turning Differences Into Strengths

The couples who thrive treat cultural clashes as growth opportunities. When a Ukrainian partner expects more family involvement than a Western partner is accustomed to, that tension can expand both partners’ understanding. LuluDate emphasizes serious connections precisely because cross-cultural partnerships demand maturity.

Building meaningful connections across borders means accepting that discomfort is part of the process. You will misread cues and occasionally offend without intending to. What matters is the willingness to work through it – choosing curiosity over defensiveness, every time. That choice, repeated across years, transforms a cross-border romance into a borderless partnership.

Calgary police have laid several assault charges against two patrons, after a chef and a bartender were injured during a bar fight at a downtown establishment earlier this month.

Richard McLaren, who is the chef at Shelter Cocktail Bar on 1st Street SW, says around 6:30 p.m. on May 15th, bartenders noticed a man and a woman walk in who may have been “too far to be served.”

“They came over to me, and they said, ‘Hey just a heads up, we’re not going to serve these people, but in case anything happens, just be aware,’” says McLaren.

Paulina Arteaga was one of the bartenders working and was the manager that night.

She says there were no issues when they advised the woman she wasn’t being served. It wasn’t until the woman told the man — who was outside at the time — that everything went sideways.

“I was standing in the corner where I could see the doors, (and) she’s talking to him already,” says Arteaga, who described seeing the man flailing his arms and noticeably angry, “so I knew something was going to happen.”

McLaren says the man confronted Arteaga and after a brief conversation between her and the man, he punched her in the face.

“It went from him swearing at Paulina to him swinging at the guest at the bar and, you know, hitting Paulina, so I immediately ran over (to) try and get just de-escalate the situation, like I really didn’t want to get into a fight,” says McLaren.

McLaren suffered a hairline fracture to his jaw and needed several stitches in his mouth. He has been off work since.

In a statement, police say they were called to the scene just before 7 p.m. after getting reports of the assault at the bar. They say officers arrested the woman upon arrival. The man however damaged the bar’s door and fled on foot.

Police say he then “assaulted the officers attempting to take him into custody,” but was taken into custody.

He now faces charges of assault by choking, common assault, assault with intent to resist arrest and one count of mischief, while she has been charged with assault.

Donald E. Newhouse, the billionaire media mogul who ran Advance Publications, the parent company of Condé Nast, died Tuesday after a battle with lymphoma. He was 96.

Newhouse’s son, Steven Newhouse, confirmed his passing to The New York Times, sharing the media giant died at his home in Lambertville, N.J.

Given Newhouse’s prior role as president of the The Star-Ledger, his son also shouted out the outlet in a statement to NJ.com, noting, “My Dad loved the Star-Ledger. Each workday he left home for Newark in the early morning darkness filled with excitement. He was especially proud of the great stories produced by Star-Ledger reporters.”

Born Donald Edward Newhouse on August 5, 1929 to Samuel I. Newhouse — the media mogul who started the storied conglomerate in 1922 with the acquisition of the Staten Island Advance — and Mitzi Epstein in New York City, Newhouse would later inherit his father’s empire, running it alongside his brother, Samuel I. Newhouse Jr. (a.k.a. Si).

While Newhouse ran the newspaper division of Advance Publications, his older brother oversaw the Condé Nast properties, including The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Architectural Digest and more. Nonetheless, the younger Newhouse brother oversaw the expansion of Advance Publications, bringing The Plain Dealer, The New Orleans Times-Picayune, The Oregonian, The Times of Trenton and more into the fold.

“If Si was by nature retiring and reflective, Donald was an outward-blazing light,” Anna Wintour, Global Editorial Director of Vogue and Chief Content Officer of Condé Nast, said in a statement to media. “You reveled in his company. He filled you with energy and humor when you felt doubtful and weak.”

Newhouse was also known for being a philanthropist and advocate for frontotemporal dementia. His wife, Susan Newhouse, died in 2015 after being diagnosed with Primary Progressive Aphasia, a form of Frontotemporal Dementia. His brother passed in 2017, having also battled dementia. In the years following, Newhouse became dedicated to finding a cure and supported the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.

“Don transformed AFTD with his generosity, his kindness, his quiet leadership, and his impassioned hope for a future free of FTD,” Susan Dickinson, former CEO of AFTD, said in a statement to NJ.com. “Thanks to him, we are closer to accurate diagnosis and treatment of this disease; and AFTD has been able to deepen our commitment to serve and support the community of families affected. He leaves a legacy of greater awareness, strong community and reduced stigma.”

While Newhouse was predeceased by his aforementioned wife and brother, he is survived by Si’s wife, his three children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Ella Bright made it clear she knew what she signed up for when leading Prime Video’s new romance drama “Off Campus” at the age of 19.

During Tuesday’s appearance on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, the actress, who plays lead character Hannah Wells, shared she was aware of the concern regarding her age, given she was only 18 when she filmed the steamy Season 1. Not to mention, her on-screen love interest, played by Belmont Cameli, was nearly 10 years her senior.

However, as Bright told host Amanda Hirsch, the age gap with Cameli was never a concern for her, defending she knew what it would take to lead the TV adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s spicy book series.

“I came into this job and during the chemistry reads with more than enough information and knowledge and understanding of what this role required and the show,” Bright said. “And I just fell in love with Hannah and these scripts immediately. There was never a question that I wouldn’t want to do this.”

As Bright continued, she admitted that she understood the concern, but defended that she “not once” felt “left out from being younger than everybody.”

“We’re all such a family and like everyone was just more than perfect,” she added. “And I couldn’t be more comfortable on this set with these people. So, it is funny when they say that. I’m like, ‘I’m good.’”

Watch her defense below.

It’s a good thing the content of “Off Campus” didn’t scare Bright off, as it’s become an overnight success for Prime Video.

As we previously reported, “Off Campus” has joined the ranks of Prime Video’s top premieres, with its freshman season ranking as the streamer’s No. 3 most-viewed debut season in history, outpacing “The Summer I Turned Pretty.”

Specifically, Season 1 of the romance series earned 36 million viewers worldwide in its first 12 days, including two full weekends on Prime Video, per internal data from the streamer.

“Obsession is officially in session at Prime Video, thanks to the fans who have embraced ‘Off Campus,’” Amazon MGM Studios global TV head Peter Friedlander said in a statement. “We couldn’t be happier to see such a passionate community come together around Season 1 of creator Louisa Levy and co-showrunner Gina Fattore’s interpretation of Elle Kennedy’s beloved story. When you earn trust and deliver for an audience, they show up — and they’ve certainly done so for ‘Off Campus.’”

Season 2 of “Off Campus,” which was greenlit before the series debut in mid-May, is set to begin production soon.

Hot off their American Music Awards appearance and Coachella debut, Katseye are taking their show on the road, and there are a few ways to score a deal on tickets.

At a Glance: Where to Buy Katseye Tickets

The girl group announced their 2026 Wildworld World Tour earlier this month, and tickets went on sale on Ticketmaster on May 21. HYBE and Geffen Records say the group’s arena trek sold out within 48 hours. In response to the massive demand, additional shows were added in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Mexico City, and they also sold out, bringing the total number of sold-out shows to 31.

Where to Find Katseye Concert Tickets Online

Ticketmaster is the official ticketing site for the Katseye tour, though we’re only seeing verified resale tickets as of this writing. Fortunately, there are a few other ways to find Katseye tickets online, through third-party and resale sites, all of which offer guarantees that ensure authentic, valid tickets delivered in time for that show or your purchase is refunded.

The Katseye tour is one of the hottest tours of the year, especially coming off of their new hit single, “Pinky Up,” so third-party sites may be the way to go to ensure you snag a seat that you like.

EDITOR’S CHOICE

StubHub is one of the best places to find Katseye tickets online, with pricing from $187 (as of this writing). StubHub lets you search for tickets by the best deal (or best view) and you can filter options by sections, price points, and perks (think: aisle seat, VIP suites, or merch bundles). StubHub’s pricing now shows the full ticket price upfront, including all fees. The site also has the most number of Katseye tickets available based on our recent research.

BEST PRICES

You can buy Katseye tickets on SeatGeek starting from just $138 online. SeatGeek’s site offers a 360-degree preview of your sightline before you commit to purchasing a ticket, so you know exactly where you’ll be in the arena and what the stage will look like. SeatGeek’s internal algorithm also identifies the best deals for you, based on views, pricing and overall value. Like StubHub, SeatGeek also offers all-in pricing and they’ll replace or refund your tickets if there is an issue post-checkout.

Bonus: Use our promo code ROLLINGSTONE10 to take $10 off your purchase of $250 or more. If you’re not ready to order those Katseye tickets just yet, you can sign up for SeatGeek email alerts, which will notify you if the price drops before the show.

BEST DEALS

Vivid Seats has a couple of ways to save on Katseye tickets. You can sign up for the Vivid Seats email list and take 15% off your first purchase. Vivid Seats also offers a rewards program that gets you your eleventh ticket free (in the form of a site credit), after you buy 10 tickets online. This is a great option for groups or for someone who’s attending a bunch of shows this year.

And Vivid Seats now lets you filter your ticket search by discounts, pulling up seats that have recently seen a price drop for whatever reason (say, if the ticket holder needs to unload their stubs quickly). The cheapest price for Katseye tickets on Vivid Seats right now is $134.

PROMO CODES

TicketNetwork is another resale marketplace offering legitimate tickets to the Wildworld Tour. TicketNetwork lets you set a maximum price that you want to pay, and the site will pull results based on the best views and sections for your price point. TicketNetwork also has the most VIP and premium Katseye ticket packages that we’re seeing online.

Want to score a deal? You can take $150 off $500 with promo code RS150, or save $300 on orders of $1000+ with the discount code RS300.

While Katseye have traveled the world before, the Wildworld Tour is the first time the global girl group will be visiting audiences in Europe, the United Kingdom, and North America on the same outing. The tour comes on the heels of their Wild EP, which drops on Aug. 14.

TOUR ACCESSORY

Ahead of the tour, fans can also pick up a Katseye lightstick online.

This set features the plastic lightstick, carrying strap, and dust bag, plus three randomly selected group member photo cards. Amazon says more than 1,000 Eyekons have purchased this lightstick in the last few weeks alone.

Will Manon Be on the Katseye Tour?

Of course, fans are wondering the tour will mark the return of group member Manon Bannerman, who announced a hiatus from Katseye in February, citing her health and well-being. While it was billed as a “temporary” break, Manon has not yet returned the group, fueling speculation that she may not be part of the tour this time around. Still, nothing has been confirmed by the group or record label thus far.

Ultimate Disney Trivia Quiz

After his Netflix roast inspired tit-for-tat feuding among comedians and backlash from viewers over a joke about George Floyd, Kevin Hart’s stance is clear: All is fair in love, war and comedy.

During a Tuesday appearance on “The Breakfast Club,” Hart addressed the controversy stemming from Netflix’s “Roast of Kevin Hart,” which aired earlier this month and included material that shocked viewers. Tony Hinchcliffe, who helms the No. 1 live podcast in the world, “Kill Tony,” applied his politically incorrect approach to comedy that similarly outraged audiences at a 2024 campaign rally for then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“The Black community is so proud of you right now,” he quipped at Hart. “George Floyd is looking up at us all, laughing so hard that he can’t breathe.”

In 2020, Floyd was murdered by police Officer Derek Chauvin, who pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck for more than nine minutes, until he died. His last words were “I can’t breathe,” which he said more than 20 times. The killing sparked global unrest and the largest civil rights protest since the 1960s. Hart attended Floyd’s memorial and private service in Minneapolis.

“The George Floyd joke, it wasn’t a tasteful joke to our culture,” Hart told the podcast. “But our audience that’s watching the roast … you get why they’re doing it, you get why the racial humor is on the table.”

Hart continued that the approach to comedy is nothing new and said, “Tony Hinchcliffe arguably had the best set, or one of the best sets.”

“Would I tell those jokes? No, but do I get why they’re being told? Yes,” Hart said.

Floyd’s brother, Terrence Floyd, spoke with “Breakfast Club” host Loren LoRosa after the roast aired and said that he expected Hart to step in and tell Hinchcliffe he’d gone too far.

“What do you want me to do? Drag him off?” Hart asked during his appearance on the podcast. “That’s not what I agreed to do. That’s not the job at hand. The job at hand was to produce a successful roast, which I did.”

Not only has the Netflix roast caused a stir among viewers, but the comedians who participated also have been trading slights in recent weeks. Chelsea Handler didn’t mince words when she offered her take on Hinchcliffe, as well as Shane Gillis, who also performed a set during the roast. According to Handler, ex-girlfriends of the controversial comedians slid into her DMs and told her what she said she already knew about them.

“They’re racist,” she said during an appearance on Deon Cole’s “Funny Knowing You” podcast. “That they’re bigots, that they’re sexist, that they think they’re like invincible.”

Handler said that one of Gillis’ jokes about lynching Hart was “worse than rape.” In response, Gillis told the Hollywood Reporter in a statement that Handler was capitalizing on the moment.

On Monday’s episode of “Kill Tony,” Hinchcliffe responded to Handler’s remarks by calling her “a bit of a c—. “

A sinister new villain for the third chapter of the MCU’s Netflix reboot on Disney+ was unveiled, and her introduction was historic for one key reason. Marvel Studios’ continuation of the Defenders saga brought Daredevil back into the fold with two seasons of Daredevil: Born Again. Now, the reboot’s third chapter, The Punisher: One Last Kill, highlights Frank Castle’s (Jon Bernthal) journey following his intense face-off with the Anti-Vigilante Task Force led by Mayor Fisk.

The Punisher: One Last Kill introduced Ma Gnucci as a historic antagonist of Frank Castle, making her the first female villain in a Punisher project. Aside from serving as the MCU’s version of DC’s Carmine Falcone, Marvel Studios’ Special Presentation transformed Ma Gnucci into something far more terrifying: the living embodiment of maternal vengeance.

Marvel Television

Having lost her husband and sons to Frank Castle’s warpath, she dragged him out of his fragile attempt at peace and forced a brutal mirror to his own unending cycle of violence, one that nearly broke the Punisher himself.

Ma Gnucci was not a cartoonish mobster. By being a vicious matriarch, she weaponized her grief, turning the neighborhood into a literal warzone to draw Frank out and putting a massive bounty on his head to eliminate him.

Judith Light as Ma Gnucci in The Punisher: One Last Kill.
Marvel Television

What made Ma’s introduction in The Punisher: One Last Kill so intriguing was that Frank decided to let her go amid the chaos to save an innocent family being attacked by random assailants.

Ma Gnucci leaving behind in The Punisher: One Last Kill.
Marvel Television

Marvel Comics provided a strong hint at what happened to Ma Gnucci after her escape in The Punisher: One Last Kill. There, the Punisher and Ma’s conflict culminated in a brutal fight at the Central Park Zoo, where Frank used the animals as weapons. A polar bear mauled Ma; she lost her limbs and was forced into a wheelchair. Frank ultimately ended Ma’s life by burning her alive in her own home.

Ma Gnucci escaping from Frank Castle in The Punisher: One Last Kill.
Marvel Television

It remains to be seen whether the MCU’s Ma Gnucci will return after One Last Kill. Ma’s escape set up potential unfinished business for Frank to deal with in future stories, such as in Spider-Man: Brand New Day or a continuation of The Punisher Netflix series (akin to Born Again).

Every Other Known ‘Active’ MCU Villain Lurking in the Shadows

Abomination

Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Marvel Television

Following his rampage as Abomination and eventual defeat in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, Emil Blonsky was placed in a high-security prison. The MCU villain returned in 2021’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as a member of an underground flight club, going toe-to-toe with the Sorcerer Supreme, Wong.

Blonsky resurfaced in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where Jennifer Walters took on his parole case. He claimed to be reformed and took anger management classes to start fresh, but the footage from his fight from Shang-Chi complicated matters. Despite that, Wong, who had been treating Blonsky as his friend, helped him escape from prison and begin a new life in Kamar-Taj under his protection.

Given that She-Hulk emphasized his turn to the good side, it remains to be seen if Abomination will return to his evil ways. It’s worth noting that Wong and the full force of Kamar-Taj will be there to contain him if he does decide to go bad.

Zemo

Daniel Bruhl as Baron Zemo in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Marvel Television

Baron Zemo made his MCU debut in Captain America: Civil War, with him succeeding in tearing the Avengers apart as revenge for his family’s death in Sokovia in Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, he was captured by T’Challa and handed over to the authorities.

Zemo returned in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, where Bucky Barnes broke him out of prison to help track down the Flag Smashers and the Super Soldier serum. Following his unlikely alliance with Bucky and Sam Wilson, the Dora Milaje captured him and transferred him to the Raft.

Zemo remains alive and imprisoned. Since he has powerful fellow inmates, such as the Leader and Thaddeus Ross, by his side, he could manipulate them into an alliance.

Vulture

Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Sony Pictures

Michael Keaton’s Adrian Toomes was defeated by Spider-Man at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

While Toomes was confirmed to have survived Thanos’ Blip, the MCU villain was involved in Multiverse shenanigans during the post-credits scene of the Jared Leto-led Morbius film.

The events of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse explained why Morbius was present in Sony’s Spider-Man universe: they caused rifts that dragged Spider-Man villains from one reality to another. At this point in the MCU timeline, it’s reasonable to assume that Toomes is back in the Sacred Timeline, meaning that he could still be in prison during the events of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Scorpion

Michael Mando as Mac Gargan in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Sony Pictures

Mac Gargan survived the events of Spider-Man: Homecoming after his plan of buying alien tech from Toomes was spoiled by Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.

However, Homecoming‘s post-credits scene confirmed that Gargan vowed to target Spider-Man once he got out, leading to his role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Gargan will fully transform into Scorpion in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, becoming one of the villains Peter Parker must contend with and protect New York from. Equipped with a high-tech exoskeleton suit, he will be a major antagonist, raising the stakes for Peter as he tries to start fresh following the game-changing reset he experienced in No Way Home.

Sonny Burch

Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Marvel Studios

Ant-Man and the Wasp introduced Walton Goggins’ Sonny Burch as an opportunistic black-market dealer who wanted Hank Pym’s quantum technology for himself.

Following a chaotic chase through San Francisco, Burch and his crew were cornered and injected with Uzman’s truth serum that forced them to confess their crimes. The MCU villain has not made a live-action return since, but he did return briefly in What If…? Season 3.

Burch might still be in prison throughout the Multiverse Saga, and he is due for an MCU comeback.

Namor

Tenoch Heurta as Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Marvel Studios

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever introduced Namor as the ruler of Talokan and a formidable foe against Shuri and the Wakandans. Following the devastating war between Talokan and Wakanda, Namor was defeated in combat by Shuri as the Black Panther.

Namor is set to resurface in Avengers: Doomsday as a conflicted member of the heroes, helping Earth’s Mightiest Heroes deal with the looming threat of Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.

Despite his deep distrust of the surface world, Namor’s motivation for joining the Avengers is due to his desire to protect Talokan amid the Multiversal crisis.

Thaddeus Ross

Following his long-standing pursuit of Bruce Banner, Thaddeus Ross became a political powerhouse, culminating in his stint as the newly elected President of the United States in Captain America: Brave New World.

Driven by years of gamma research, Ross transformed into the Red Hulk after the Leader orchestrated events from behind the scenes, leading to a rampage that cost him his position in the White House. After being pacified by Sam Wilson, Ross was arrested and placed inside the Raft.

Given that he is still alive and active, Ross is considered one of the most dangerous figures in the MCU. He could potentially transform into the Red Hulk at any moment, which would be crucial in an escape plot.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 introduced the High Evolutionary as a god-like scientist who thrived on experimenting on animals as part of his twisted quest for evolutionary perfection.

Serving as Rocket Raccoon’s main rival (and worst nightmare), the Guardians rallied behind one of their own to put an end to the High Evolutionary’s reign of terror. Despite his defeat, he survived the ordeal, but his body was badly damaged; his intellect and resolve remained.

However, with Rocket forming his new team of Guardians at the end of Vol. 3, the cosmic heroes will surely find a way to contain him.

Galactus

Marvel Studios

Following his cataclysmic arrival as the devourer of worlds in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Galactus was defeated by Marvel’s First Family with the help of his herald Shalla-Bal by succeeding in hurling him through a wormhole into the far reaches of the galaxy. Galactus was delayed and stranded far from Earth-828.

What made Galactus’ defeat far more complicated was that his eternal hunger and god-like power remained undiminished, setting up an MCU return in sequels that could make him an even scarier threat.

Eleanor Bishop

Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop in Hawkeye.
Marvel Television

Eleanor Bishop made an impactful debut in Hawkeye as Kate Bishop’s mother, who had a nefarious alliance with Wilson Fisk. As the ambitious CEO of Bishop Security, she orchestrated behind-the-scenes moves to maintain her family’s wealth and power.

Eleanor’s crimes were fully exposed, leading to her arrest by the NYPD for murder and conspiracy. While she was still in prison, Eleanor’s knowledge of powerful underworld networks and manipulative nature could lead to her eventual comeback, setting up a clash with her daughter, Kate.

Parker Robbins

Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins in Ironheart.
Marvel Television

Parker Robbins (aka the Hood) made his presence felt in Ironheart, serving as a magical antagonist against Riri Williams. The Hood’s deal with Mephisto granted him invisibility, flight, and escalating supernatural power.

Though defeated by Ironheart by stripping away his cloak, Parker survived, albeit broken and powerless. The Hood remains dangerously motivated, and Ironheart‘s post-credits scene revealed that he found ways to reclaim his power, starting with recruiting magic expert Zelma Stanton.

Bullseye

Wilson Bethel as Bullseye in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
Marvel Television

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 ended with Bullseye’s twisted form of redemption, assisting Matt Murdock with his battle against Mayor Fisk and helping the New York Governor fend off an attack from Fisk’s men.

The final scenes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 showed him being recruited into Mr. Charles’ shadow operations team, making him a government-sanctioned asset that could prove dangerous due to his deadly precision and mental fragility.

Bullseye is confirmed to return in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, setting up eventual clashes, not just with Matt Murdock, but the rest of the returning Defenders.

Kingpin

Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
Marvel Television

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 ended with Wilson Fisk’s downfall, as he was defeated by Daredevil and his army. This forced him to step down as Mayor of New York, and the final scenes showed him on a distant island, reflecting on his defeat.

Fisk’s return in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 (complete with comic-accurate costumes) sets the stage for a potentially dangerous comeback. He may likely be vying for power as he seeks revenge against Matt Murdock.

The Leader

Following his origin story in The Incredible Hulk, the Leader (Samuel Sterns) made a sinister return in Captain America: Brave New World as the one orchestrating the downfall of Thaddeus Ross’ presidency while aiming to unleash chaos worldwide. Driven by his resentment and intellectual superiority, the Leader almost succeeded, but he was thwarted by Sam Wilson.

The Leader allowed himself to be taken into custody, with the authorities bringing him to The Raft. Brave New World‘s post-credits scene teased that the Leader is aware of the impending Multiversal crisis, hinting at his involvement in either Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars.

It was reported several months back that iconic actor William Shatner was in talks to return to Star Trek in some capacity. This would have been his first return to the role of James T. Kirk since 1994’s Star Trek: Generations, in which his character died. But no one ever learned what that potential project was, until now. And it would have been very different from what anyone was expecting. According to a Polygon interview with Star Trek: Strange New Worlds showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Akiva Goldsman, they tried multiple times to get Shatner to return in an episode serving as a sequel to the original series’ most beloved episode, “The City on the Edge of Forever.”

Paramount Pictures

Both Kurtzman and Goldsman said they tried every season to make this episode happen, and even wrote several scripts. But for unknown reasons, it never saw the light of day. And with production now wrapped on Strange New Worlds, it seems even more unlikely to ever happen. In their pitch, Shatner would have played an alternate version of Captain Kirk, who stayed in the 1930s after time-traveling there to be with his great love, Edith Keeler (Joan Collins). The original episode aired in 1967, and is widely considered the best Star Trek episode of all time.

Star Trek's Guardian of Forever
Paramount Television

In “The City on the Edge of Forever,” Captain Kirk and Spock travel to Depression-era New York through an entity called the Guardian of Forever. Kirk meets and falls in love with a soup kitchen worker named Edith Keeler, played by Joan Collins. Spock informs him that she will start a pro-peace movement that will keep America out of World War II, allowing the Nazis to win, thus erasing their utopian future. Unless she dies in a car accident a few days later, as history intended. Kirk must agonizingly allow his love to die, to save his future. But in this potential episode, we would have met a version of Kirk who made a different choice.

STAR TREK GENERATIONS At 25: An Iconic Crossover That Didn’t Quite Deliver

We don’t know any other details about the potential episode, but Joan Collins could have starred in it. She is 93 years old, but still acting, as recently as American Horror Story: Apocalypse. This would have likely been a better send-off to Shatner than his role in Generations. His ending there left the Star Trek fandom largely unhappy. Had the potential Strange New Worlds spin-off series Star Trek: Year One happened, we might have seen this story there. But it feels like that ship has sailed. Perhaps this story will become a novel or comic book, but for now, it remains a tantalizing “what if?” scenario.

It was reported several months back that

Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed it will soon shut down its early PS5 exclusive, Destruction AllStars.

The car combat title was developed by British studio Lucid Games and released in 2021, and received mixed reviews from the media.

On Tuesday, PlayStation announced that the game has been removed from sale, alongside its virtual currency, and multiplayer servers have been closed.

Single-player modes will remain accessible to existing users until November 25, it said in a message to players, after which only Arcade Mode single-player challenges shall remain playable.

However, “functionality and player experience” may be impacted due to the server shutdown, the announcement reads.

“Due to ongoing technical issues, multiplayer services for Destruction AllStars on PlayStation 5 consoles shall remain offline and are no longer available,” Sony said. “We appreciate the support and enthusiasm of the Destruction AllStars community.”

Destruction AllStars was originally planned to be a $70 PS5 launch title, but its release was delayed, and Sony chose instead to make it available through PlayStation Plus at launch at no additional cost to subscribers for two months. Following this period, the game’s price was set at $19.99 / £17.99.

VGC said in our Destruction AllStars review: “While simply driving around the arenas is fun, and there’s always satisfaction in crushing your opponent against the wall, the reasons to come back to Destruction Allstars are painfully few. The game’s characters are wonderfully designed and feel trapped in a game that never comes close to utilising their potential.”
