In anticipation for the highly anticipated sequel to 2018’s “Into The Spider-Verse” Sony Pictures Home Entertainment recently released a teaser for all their Spider-Men, promoting “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” and featuring all 3 of the live action spideys Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland as well as Shameik Moore’s Miles Morales.

This short teaser highlights all nine Spider-Man films, Toby Maguire and Tom Holland’s trilogy and both Amazing Spider-Man movies, and of course the first “Into the Spider-Verse” movie.

The poster featuring all 4 Spider-Men uses the signature animation style of Into The Spider-Verse, a bold choice considering all the hype and speculation surrounding a crossover.
Sony has been celebrating and capitalizing on Spider-Man like never before recently, with box sets, brand deals and fan celebrations.
Sony recently revealed the Spider-Man 8-Movie Collection via Microsoft. This bundle includes Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, and Spider-Man 3. Alongside Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Also included are Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Fans have been speculating for months whether or not we will actually see a spidey or two in Across the Spider-Verse. Be it a Miles Morales live action cross over, or Tobey Maguire in Across the Spider-Verse as some fans are speculating.
However one thing we do know for sure is that there will be a crossover with Venom in “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”. Peggy Lu’s Mrs. Chen from “Venom” and “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” will make a live-action cameo in “Across the Spider-Verse”.
Its possible this quadruple salute to Spider-Man’s cinematic journey could simply be just that, a poster, to build hype build hype for the upcoming Across the Spider-Verse movie, however, as always, there is talk of something else going on behind the scenes, so what’s the secret agenda behind this spidey extravaganza this time?
