Netflix’s Man on Fire reimagines A.J. Quinnell’s book series, letting Yahya Abdul-Mateen II step into the role of John Creasy. As a Special Forces Mercenary suffering with PTSD, Creasy is thrown back into the world of international crime with the help of his former advisor, Rayburn (Bobby Cannavale). But when an explosion kills Rayburn, his wife, and two of his three kids, Creasy makes it his mission to get to the bottom of hit, and rescue Rayburn’s surviving daughter, Poe (Billie Boulett). This series is not for the faint of heart, but if you’re willing to hang on for seven episodes of action, heartache, and powerful performances, then you should check out Man on Fire.
