“Deadpool & Wolverine” Promises Fans One Hell of a Good Time

“Deadpool & Wolverine” is the gift that just keeps on giving. With tickets for Marvel’s new movie now on sale, the hype for the long-awaited team-up between Deadpool and Wolverine is oh so close, and yet two months away from premiering. However, Marvel along with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are making sure that there is no shortage of content to keep fans entertained until the film’s release.

Starting with an epic Civil War-esque poster which was shared when tickets for the film came out.

The official synopsis for “Deadpool & Wolverine” reads… oh this should be fun. Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date-“Deadpool & Wolverine.” A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctantlier… reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to-Fuck. Synopses are so fucking stupid.

Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) along with Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) will change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film also stars Matthew Macfadyen as Paradox, and Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova, with the return of Deadpool alums Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Rob Delaney as Peter, and Lewis Tan as Shatterstar. Aaron Stanford is returning as Pyro from the X-Men film series, with Jennifer Garner rumored to return as Elektra Natchios.

With fan anticipation through the roof, The ever comedic duo that is Reynolds and Jackman are leaning into their roles and the film’s hype heavily, taking their movie’s marketing to the next level.  First we were treated to a skit of the two sharing tickets to “Deadpool & Wolverine”, and what ensues, (well in their heads at least) is nothing short of hilarious.

If that isn’t enough to drive you to buy a ticket, just wait until you see what Reynolds pulled off next. When the latest “Deadpool & Wolverine” teaser trailer was shared, fans noticed a hidden QR code that, when scanned, lead to a video of Reynolds reading a “disclaimer” for the film which completely dismantles the MCU. In the video, Reynolds promises us one hell of a good time “We’re mostly going to beat each other senseless, make enemies with Disney, tell a few dick jokes, make a few jokes at my expense, make a lot of jokes at Hugh’s expense” he then jokingly referenced “Marvel’s mandated after-credits sequence” which he called “just a commercial for another movie which will invariably end with a commercial for another movie.”

The fun didn’t end there. Can any power in the universe end the feud between Deadpool and Wolverine? Apparently a Heineken Silver can. The new world-class light beer, Heineken Silver once again stepped into the Marvel Cinematic Universe to celebrate the release of “Deadpool & Wolverine” which is bound to be the theatrical release of the summer, quite possibly the year.

It’s been an epic few weeks for Marvel fans, and a busy week for Deadpool and Wolverine. The excitement is building, the suits are tightening and as Ryan Reynolds put it, “sit back, relax, let us lower your IQ and raise your heart rate while we travel to a vapid Dreamland, a place where grown men and grown women walk around in tights, and act like it’s not a giant cultural cry for help. This is cinema.”

Kevin Feige, Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy and Lauren Shuler Donner produce with Louis D’Esposito, Wendy Jacobson, Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, George Dewey and Simon Kinberg serving as executive producers. Deadpool & Wolverine is written by Ryan Reynolds & Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick & Zeb Wells & Shawn Levy.

Chimichangas & Adamantium will release exclusively in cinemas on July 26th. So you better be there bub!
