Harrison Ford is fed up with fans’ dumb questions about Star Wars and Indiana Jones.
Speaking to Esquire, the 80-year-old revealed the biggest question that Star Wars fans ask him and why it drives him up the wall.
“Well, they usually ask me, ‘If there was a fight between Han Solo and Indiana Jones, who would f**king win?’ And I say, ‘Me, a**hole! I don’t want to f**king make s**t up like that. I mean, what are you asking me that crap for?’”
“
It’s no secret that Ford is a bit prickly when it comes to his franchise roles. After all, he previously revealed that he has no idea what a Force ghost is when it was suggested he could return to Star Wars as one.
“A Force ghost? I don’t know what a Force ghost is,” he said. “Don’t tell anyone. I’m not talking loud enough for your recorder. I have no f**king idea what a Force ghost is. And I don’t care.”
Ford is about to return as Indiana Jones in the upcoming sequel, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which sees him square off against a Nazi threat once more – this time with added time-travel shenanigans.
Perhaps as one reason for his grumpiness, Ford was famously injured while shooting Star Wars VII, causing production at Pinewood Studios to shut down after his leg was trapped under the door of the Millennium Falcon. He was also injured while filming a fight scene for Indiana Jones 5.
IGN’s review of Indiana Jones 5 gave it 4/10 and said: “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny fails to recapture Spielberg’s magic. With uninspired action and conflicting themes and character motivations, it’s proof that some things should just be allowed to end.”
