EXCLUSIVE: Here’s a clip from Mia Hansen-Løve’s One Fine Morning (Un Beau Matin) for MUBI, the Lea Seydoux-starring pic premiering tonight in the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight.
Seydoux stars as Sandra, a young mother who raises her daughter alone and pays regular visits to her sick father. While she and her family fight tooth and nail to get him the care he requires, Sandra reconnects with Clément, a friend she hasn’t seen in a while. Although he is in a relationship, the two begin a passionate affair.
The film also stars Melvil Poupaud as Clément, Pascal Greggory, Nicole Garcia, Camille Leban Martins. Les Films du Losange is handling sales. David Thion, Philippe Martin and Charlotte Dauphin are producing.
One Fine Morning has its global premiere tonight in the Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes.
Seydoux was revealed earlier this week to be leading one of the buzziest Cannes titles, Audrey Diwan’s English-language directorial debut Emmanuelle.
