Taylor Swift Just Cleared Up That Mysterious 1989 Vault Track

Mystery solved! Taylor Swift has finally put us out of our misery. Yesterday, September 19, the hitmaker posted a puzzle more puzzling than her usual puzzles, revealing one of her “vault” track titles in an Instagram post that I couldn’t figure out. Was she spelling out slut? lust? Or delivering a different kind of clue? Is this the damn Enigma code?

Twenty-four hours and millions of Google puzzles later, we have all our answers. I won’t make you read further without getting to the answer of the biggest question: It’s “SLUT!”

“SLUT!”

I AM SO! EXCITED! FOR THIS! SONG!

The other vault tracks are “Don’t Say Go,” “Now That We Don’t Talk,” “Suburban Legends,” and “Is It Over Now?” There’s definitely a super-mix to be made with the title of “Is It Over Now That We Don’t Say Go,” but someone who knows GarageBand better than I do will have to make it.

Swift revealed the full track list in an Instagram post that also features the back covers of the different editions of 1989 (Taylor’s Version), with all the pictures shot by Beth Garrabant, who has been Swift’s go-to photographer since the Folklore days.

Instagram content

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

Taylor Swift is playing 3D promotional chess while the rest of us are still sorting our checkers. In her classic winged eyeliner and red lipstick, Blondie is seen having fun on the beach, shouting, eating ice cream, dancing, and, of course, showing feet. (It’s a thing.)

“SLUT!”

Sorry, I’m just really excited. This is the not-ironic “Blank Space” that’s going to make me go absolutely feral through the end of 2023.

While Swift may or may not be in the talking stage with Travis Kelce, she was recently seen grabbing caviar and martinis with Sansa Stark Sophie Turner.
