After months of waiting, Marvel fans finally got a glimpse at Peter Parker’s next adventure when the first Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer dropped yesterday.
The fourth installment in the MCU Spider-Man series, Brand New Day, will see Peter Parker set out into the world alone after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home made the world forget who he was.

This time, Holland will be joined by Mark Ruffalo’s Incredible Hulk and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher.
“Four years have gone by since we last caught up with our friendly neighborhood hero,” the film’s first synopsis reads.
“Peter Parker is no more, but Spider-Man is at the top of his game keeping New York City safe. Things are going well for our anonymous hero until an unusual trail of crimes pulls him into a web of mystery larger than he’s ever faced before.”
A Very Different Spider-Man
The first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day showcased a very different Peter Parker.

Depressed by the loss of MJ and now alone in the world, Peter finds his superpowers mutating.
Seeking help, Peter turns to Bruce Banner, who predictably does not remember who he is.

Finally, the trailer also provided a brief look at numerous villains, including Scorpion, The Hand, and Sadie Sink’s mystery character.
A Record-Breaking 24 Hours
One day after the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer was released, the clip has already shattered viewership records.

In total, the trailer has racked up an astounding 718.6 million views across all platforms.
That demolished the previous film trailer record of 373 million, set by Deadpool & Wolverine. In fact, it took Brand New Day only eight hours to surpass its MCU predecessor.

The previous installment in the MCU Spider-Man series, No Way Home, garnered 355.5 million views in its first 24 hours. That film would go on to make $1.9 billion at the global box office.
