The 2023 NAACP Image Awards kicked off on February 25 and, once again, Angela Bassett did the thing.
The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star was named Entertainer of the Year and outstanding supporting actress in a motion picture at the awards ceremony, which honors achievements made by people of color in over 80 categories. She took the stage wearing a fabulous white jumpsuit, making sure to reference Ariana DeBose’s instantly iconic number from this year’s BAFTA Awards.

When it comes to fashion, Bassett wasn’t the only one who showed up and showed out. Zendaya made her first red carpet appearance of 2023 wearing a silk black and green vintage Versace haute couture dress from their spring-summer 2002 collection before changing into a custom white Prada bra and skirt combo inspired by a look from 1993.
