Meet 15 year old Ariana Greenblatt, although, you probably have before, considering this young actress has been everywhere lately. She is one of the busiest young actresses in Hollywood, and was even named ‘One To Watch’ by The Hollywood Reporter in their 2019 Young Hollywood list. Having starred in a variety of different movies, and racked up a pretty impressive filmography for her age, Ariana Greenblatt is popping up almost everywhere. And she’s just getting started.

Ariana started her professional career as an actress when she was 6 years old with roles on the Disney channel and Nickolodeon, she started in Disney’s Liv and Maddie in 2013 and Nickelodeon’s Legendary Dudas in 2016.
She then started to gain traction in her career as she starred as ‘Daphne Diaz,’ in Disney’s hit series Stuck in the Middle in 2016. In 2018 she made it to the finals of ABC’s inaugural season of Dancing with the Stars: Juniors.

In 2017 she had a role in the supporting cast of A Bad Moms Christmas, In 2018, she had a role as a young Gamora in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War, the biggest blockbuster of the year and in 2020 she was featured as the voice of young Velma in Scoob!
Ariana has acted with multiple well known and well established actors, directors and producers. Which for someone just starting out in this business is a huge notch in their belt. She worked with Angelina Jolie who produced the award nominated Disney+ adaptation of the New York Times best-selling novel, The One and Only Ivan in 2020, the film also starred Bryan Cranston, Helen Mirren, and Sam Rockwell.

That same year she starred alongside Dylan O’Brien and Woody Harrelson in the apocalyptic comedy Love and Monsters from Paramount Pictures which was a hit on Netflix. The film received a Critics Choice Super Awards nomination in 2021 for Best Science Fiction/Fantasy Movie.
In 2021 she starred alongside Gina Rodriguez in the thriller Awake. Soon after she had a small role in the film adaptation of Lin Manuel Miranda’s Broadway musical, In The Heights.
Her next project will be the movie 65, premiering March 10th 2023, where she stars alongside Adam Driver in a SciFi adventure set 65 million years

ago. The story follows an astronaut who crash lands on Earth in prehistoric times, only to find out, he’s not alone. The film is written and directed by A Quiet Place writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods and produced by Spider-Man’s Sam Raimi.
Soon after that Ariana will be switching gears as she gets ready for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie coming July 21st. The film’s plot has been kept tightly under wraps and Ariana’s character is still unknown, but we do know she will get the chance to work with some amazing actors such as Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
Most recently it was announced that Ariana had joined the A-list cast of Lionsgate’s Borderlands, a feature film based on the popular video game set on the abandoned fictional planet of Pandora where people search for a mysterious relic. Ariana is set to star as Tiny Tina, an unstable 13 year old explosives expert, alongside Cate Blanchett, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Jamie Lee Curtis. Director Eli Roth spoke of Ariana’s talent, “Ariana is a spectacular new talent in cinema. She has already worked with many of my close collaborators and everyone raves about her. She blew us all away in her audition, and I cannot wait to see her bring the wild, insane and unpredictable Tiny Tina to the big screen. She’s going to blow up on screen like one of Tina’s grenades.”
Apart from acting Ariana also focuses on funding no kill animal shelters, adopting vs shopping, and other animal welfare initiatives. “I have always been a big advocate to adopt and not shop – to rescue. My two dogs (Foxy and Luna) are both rescues. Animal rights and education has been and always will be close to my heart.”
Ariana is definitely a young Hollywood talent to keep your eye on. Surely at the rate she’s going, she’s going going to deliver some great performances in her future.
