Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson kept their son’s name under wraps since his August 2022 arrival, but the wait is finally over.
During the season three premiere of The Kardashians, which aired on Hulu on May 25, we got her son’s first official namedrop. Drumroll, please…Sticking with the same “T” theme as his big sister, five-year-old True, baby boy Thompson’s name is Tatum!
Tatum’s name isn’t actually a total surprise. Earlier this month, an alleged insider reported to The Sun that the baby’s name is Tatum Robert, which turned out to be correct. Kardashian had a few reasons why she kept her son’s name private, but the wait wasn’t supposed to be this long. “At first, he didn’t have a name. Then, he’s been named but I’ve been waiting for the premiere of our show and I didn’t know it was going to be this far out,” she said on an April 5 episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show. She also shared that she needed time to “feel him out a little bit” before picking his name.

Though Kardashian carried her first child, the 38-year-old reality star opted to welcome Tatum via surrogacy. During the episode, Kardashian got candid about her experience, admitting that her son’s birth was “really hard” for her to process.
“I definitely buried my head in the sand during that pregnancy. I didn’t digest what was happening and so I think, when I went to the hospital, that was the first time that really registered,” she said. “It has nothing to do with the baby. It’s just, you’re like okay, we’re having a baby, and this is my son and I’m taking him home with me. I definitely was in a state of shock I think from my entire experience in general.”
