Following the success of Nintendo’s “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe,” “Team Sonic Racing” and “Disney Speedstorm,” developer Bamtang Games and publisher GameMill Entertainment wanted to give the kart-racer treatment to DreamWorks Animation characters.
Now ready for pre-order for $39.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and Target, “DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing” features 20 characters across DreamWorks Animation, such as Shrek, Princess Fiona, Donkey, Po, Tigress, Boss Baby, Puss in Boots, Hiccup, Astrid, Megamind, Lord Farquaad and more, in a high-speed kart racer with local and online multi-player.
The game comes out for Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X and PS4 on Nov. 3.

The kart-racing game features 20 different DreamWorks-themed tracks, including Shrek’s Swamp, The Kingdom of Far Far Away, Bergen Town from “Trolls,” The Boss Baby’s Baby Corp., New York City Zoo from “Madagascar,” Isle of Berk from “How To Train Your Dragon” and others.
In addition, “DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing” has 20 different kart racers to go along with each character in the game. However, you can mix and match kart parts and — like chassis, engines, wheels, spoilers and more — for hundreds of variations and combinations that could give you the edge for crossing the finish line in first place.
Meanwhile, Trolls Poppy, Branch, Barb, Cooper and many others are not only the host for each race, but they can also help you with power-ups, shortcuts, special surprises and much more. In fact, there are even magical switches that you can hit to uncover hidden paths to victory.
