Cher announced that after years of being single, she officially has a new man in her life.
After being photographed out holding hands with music producer Alexander “A.E.” Edwards, the pop icon logged on to Twitter to confirm that they are dating and she’s having the time of her life. Fans first started to suspect there was something going on with the singer when she tweeted on November 1, “One part of my life is SO AMAZING,” with a heart-eyes emoji. Shortly after that, on November 3, the singer was spotted holding hands with Edwards as they entered the celebrity hangout Craig’s in West Hollywood, where they met up for dinner with rapper Tyga. At one point Edwards was even seen kissing her hand as they were sitting waiting in the car. And the following day the singer responded to a tweet that said, “Someone’s got a new boyfriendddd,” with “YESSSSS.”

On Sunday night Cher took their relationship to the next level by making things social media official with her new beau, tweeting out a screenshot of the music producer and writing, “Alexander,” with a red heart emoji. She then followed that up by tweeting cryptically, “That was Then, This is now” When asked by a fan, “IS THIS YOUR NEW MAN!?,” she replied with just a smiling emoji surrounded by hearts. She then went on to explain that they met during Paris Fashion Week and while he has yet to meet her best friend, Paulette Howell, he has already met everyone else in her family. One fan expressed their concern regarding A.E.’s intentions toward her, but Cher replied, “As we All Know…I WASNT BORN YESTERDAY, & What I Know For Sure…There Are No Guarantees. Anytime you make a Choice You Take a Chance.I’ve Always Taken Chances…It’s WHO I Am.” And when another follower said, “He better be treating you like the queen you are!,” she assured them, “LIKE A ?.”
