Blake Lively Jumped Over the Rope at a Museum to Fix Her Met Gala Dress

Blake Lively saw her own dress at a museum and crossed a line (figuratively speaking; it was actually a rope) to adjust it to her liking. I mean, if you’re Blake Lively, one assumes you get away with more than most.

On Tuesday, July 25, Lively visited the “Crown to Couture” exhibit at Kensington Palace in London, where her teal and copper Atelier Versace gown, which she wore to the “Gilded Glamour”–themed 2022 Met Gala, was on display. However, when she came upon the dress, she decided it needed a little zhuzhing, which she was happy to do herself. She documented the experience on Instagram Stories, writing, “When you’re the clown who hops over the rope at the museum to fix the exhibit.”

She added, “Happy almost Virgo season folx.” Hold your horses, Blake; Jennifer Lopez’s Leo season just started a few days ago.

Lively’s Versace dress is one of many designer gowns worn by celebs that are on display at the Kensington Palace exhibit; pieces once worn by Lizzo, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Kendall Jenner are also featured; however, we have no knowledge that any of the aforementioned celebrities have taken the initiative to fix their garments on their own. Which is probably for the best.
