Marvel has finally unveiled the first official teaser for its next big team-up film, “Thunderbolts“, and it looks amazing! This film has the potential to start a new chapter for the MCU, with the addition of a new team to the mix. The trailer has been highly anticipated for months, especially following its initial reveal at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) earlier this year and the subsequent leak that circulated online.
The trailer features familiar faces from previous MCU projects, as well as new ones. The film stars Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/US Agent, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, and Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster. Julia Louis-Dreyfus reprises her role as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, who has been assembling these characters across several projects, including “Black Widow” and “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, serving as a sort of Nick Fury figure.

In contrast to the Avengers, who were a group of heroes who united to save the world in 2012, “Thunderbolts” brings together a group of antiheroes assembled to confront a much greater threat than the one they themselves once posed: Sentry.
With these exciting characters colliding in one film, fans can expect Avengers-level excitement, constant bickering, humour and thrilling action as showcased in the trailer. Not to mention a certain amount of mystery. “Thunderbolts” promises to be a captivating addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. An MCU Suicide Squad if you will.
