60 Seconds To Save The World | Short Film Competition

Welcome to ’60 Seconds to Save the World’, a competition that challenges you to come up with an idea that can make a difference in protecting our planet. In celebration of Earth Month (April), it’s more important than ever to take action and find innovative solutions to the environmental challenges we face. In just 60 seconds, you have the opportunity to present your idea to a panel of judges and potentially win a prize. So, whether you’re passionate about reducing waste, conserving energy, protecting biodiversity, or any other aspect of sustainability, we encourage you to participate in this competition and help make a positive impact on our planet. Let’s work together to create a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable future!

No camera? No problem! Smartphone films are accepted and even encouraged for this competition.

1) Shoot a 1 minute Short Film.

2) Use the theme of … saving the world! Think about the planet, the environment, and how it can be saved.

3) Post the completed film on Instagram, tagging @raindancefilmfestival and including the hashtag #60secondstosavetheworld

E.g.: Hey @raindancefilmfestival, here’s my #60secondstosavetheworld entry!

Submissions close at midnight, May 30th, 2022. Winners announced June 10th.

One entry per person.

Submissions under 60 seconds will be accepted, however, submissions over 60 seconds will be ineligible. Opening titles and closing credits are included in your runtime.

The winners will receive:

Prizes are fixed and judges decisions are final.

Everyone who enters the competition will receive:

  • 10% off any Raindance course.
