Many fans were convinced that Zendaya finally tied the knot with long-term boyfriend Tom Holland after posting a photo to her Instagram stories on Friday morning that showed a ring on her engagement finger. But the “Dune” star was quick to deny the rumors, stating that she really took the sleek mirror picture to show off her Warriors hat.
“I posted for my hat…Like, not for the ring on my right finger, you guys,” she said in a follow-up Instagram story. “Seriously, you think that’s how I would drop the deuce? Like, what?!”
It makes sense that the Bay Area native was showing support for her home team. She and Holland have been pictured on the sidelines of dozens of Warriors games throughout the years. The San Francisco Chronicle went so far as to call her the “official Jack Nicholson of Warriors’ nation.” Most recently, she and Holland were spotted at the NBA Playoffs where they rooted for the Warriors against the Los Angeles Lakers.
She’s been pictured in a variety of Golden State merch, oftentimes in a subtle black-on-black snapback with The City logo, but the hat in question is particularly special because it’s embroidered with the team’s iconic, retro ’90s logo.
So, where can you get your own Warriors hat to match Zendaya?
