Hoon Lee has signed with Anonymous Content for representation, Variety has learned exclusively. He continues to be repped by Peikoff Mahan.
Lee currently stars in the popular Apple TV series “Your Friends and Neighbors” in the role of Barney Choi. He has appeared in both seasons of the show to date with a third season on the way. Next up, he will be seen in the Netflix limited series adaptation of “East of Eden” alongside Florence Pugh, Christopher Abbott, and Mike Faist. That show is based on the iconic American novel of the same name by John Steinbeck. He will play the role of Lee, the Chinese-American who works for Adam, who is played by Abbott.
Lee is also known for his roles in shows including “See” at Apple TV and the Cinemax shows “Banshee” and “Warrior.” His other TV credits include “Bosch” at Amazon and “DMZ” at HBO Max. Lee is an accomplished voice actor as well. He has lent his voice to two different “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” animated shows, voicing both the turtles’ mentor Splinter and their archenemy Shredder. He went on to voice White Rabbit in the Netflix series adaptation of “Devil May Cry.”
In film, Lee is known for roles in features like the live-action “Mulan” and “We Own the Night.” On stage, Lee has been in Broadway productions including “The King and I,” “Pacific Overtures,” and “Flower Drum Song” among others. He has also worked extensively with The Public Theater and Ma-Yi Theater Company.
