Still basking in the success of her hit HBO series Euphoria, the now 24-year-old actress shared the couch with Hamilton star Daveed Diggs on The Late Late Show with James Corden as he regarded it as one of his ‘arguably most talented couch‘ in 2021.
As the trio got talking, Diggs revealed how he had spent his 40th birthday eating red velvet cupcakes. While he may have been the birthday boy, the highlight was Sydney Sweeney’s response to James Corden’s question about finding ’40’ very old. “It’s a little terrifying,” she said, earning cackles from all around.
The Euphoria actress’ answer was far from brazen and rude. Sweeney, being almost two decades younger than Diggs, only reflected the fear of getting old. She later clarified that it is not too old. And even complimented her couch mate, ” You look good… for your age,” the actress remarked, making Diggs blush. There have been countless actresses in Hollywood who have opened up about not being cast as they get older.
