Yash19 will be directed by national award winner Geethu Mohanda
Reportedly, Yash will also be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Ranbir Kapoor is also part of the cast.
Yash is all over in the news following Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Well, the film has not been announced but it has been creating a lot of buzz because of the cast. Amid this, a report from Pinkvilla has claimed that Yash is all set to begin shooting for his next film directed by national award winner Geethu Mohanda. The film’s title is Yash 19.
According to Pinkvilla report, Yash and Geethu Mohandas are all set to collaborate for the first time. “Yash is all set to start shooting for Yash 19 from December 2023. The prep work is going on at the moment, and Yash too will be under going several look tests in the time to come. Yash was offered scripts from across the industries, and it’s Geethu Mohandas’ next that has stayed with him,” revealed a source close to the development.
“The stakes are high and Yash wants to be sure on what he is taking up next. He sat down with Geethu and discussed various aspects before locking it all on the paper. He is now ready to move into the prep stage as an actor and start rolling around December this year,” the source added.
Talking about Geethu, she is known for films like Liar’s Dice and The Elder One and has won 2 National Awards.
Recently, India Today in its news mentioned a test shoot of Ramayana cast would be held towards the end of July. However, an official confirmation is still awaited. The report also says that it is not clear who would be part of the test shoot – whether it would be Yash, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor or all of them. But this piece of news has surely created a lot of excitement among fans. It was also recently reported that Yash had passed on the opportunity. Now, the actor has finally reacted to the speculation, hinting that he is very much a part of the highly-ambitious film. “I’m not going anywhere. Don’t worry about rumours,” Yash was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.
