During the PlayStation Showcase, Sony revealed various games coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Moments after the showcase ended, Xbox sent a reminder that many of the games shown would be coming there too.
On the official Xbox Twitter account, there’s a post that reads “What a good looking group” with a picture of the following games: Immortals Of Aveum, Ghostrunner 2, Marathon, Metal Gear Solid, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Alan Wake 2, The Plucky Squire, Teardown, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Neva, Cat Quest, and The Talos Principle 2.
It’s worth noting throughout the entire PlayStation Showcase whenever the trailer for each game ended, the majority of them said that each one would be coming to PlayStation. But it’s also worth noting that most publishers behind these games have a long history of releasing their games on Xbox. Games such as Assassin’s Creed have been multiplatform since the first game in the 360/PS3 era, and the Metal Gear series has been on Xbox since 2002. The same applies to EA’s Immortals Of Aveum and Remedy Entertainment with Alan Wake 2.
Even though many games were announced that will be coming out for both consoles, the following games won’t be available on Xbox: Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy 16, Phantom Blade Zero, Ultros, and Revenant Hill.
