Season of the Witch is beginning to wind down, but before Season of the Wish kicks off at the end of the month, it’s time to drop some currency off at Xur in exchange for some new gear. The Agent of the Nine is back, offering an assortment of Exotic and Legendary-class gear. Here’s where Xur is this weekend and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur in The Tower, inside the Hangar. For his weapon, Xur is offering The Jade Rabiit. Hunters can pick up the Ophidia Spathe armor; Titans can grab An Insurmountable Skullfort helmet; and Warlocks can buy The Stag helmet.
Xur Location
Spawn in using the Courtyard transmat zone in the Tower to find Xur this week. Head left and down the stairs to enter the Hangar section, then hang another left. Make your way to the north end of the area and look for a staircase that will take you onto a catwalk, where Xur is waiting.
Xur Exotic and Legendary Items
- Exotic Engram – 97 Legendary Shards
- The Jade Rabbit – 29 Legendary Shards
- An Insurmountable Skullfort – 23 Legendary Shards
- Ophidia Spathe – 23 Legendary Shards
- The Stag – 23 Legendary Shards
- Hawkmoon – 200 Legendary Shards, 125,000 Glimmer, 1 Ascendant Shard, 1 Exotic Cipher
- Xenology quest – Free
- Legendary weapons and armor – 50 Legendary Shards, 1,000 Glimmer
Xur also offers the Xenology quest every week, which requires you to complete 21 Vanguard Ops or win Crucible and Gambit matches so that you can earn an Exotic Cipher. These are normally used to buy old Exotics from a kiosk in the Tower, but beginning this season, you’ll be able to spend them at Master Rahool to get the Exotics that you want. The cap on Exotic Ciphers has also increased, as you’ll now be able to hold up to five of them at a time.
Exotic Armor
An Insurmountable Skullfort (Exotic Titan helmet)
While it’s title is a mouthful, An Insurmountable Skullfort’s perk is easy to understand. Kills with Arc melee abilities trigger health regeneration and restore melee energy. Pairing this with a Monte Carlo in your weapon slot should help boost its efficacy at keeping you alive, as you’ll be able to get your melee ability charged up even more quickly. The strength and recovery stats on this Exotic are fittingly high, but resilience is quite low for something that needs you to get up close and personal.
- Mobility: 12
- Resilience: 3
- Recovery: 19
- Discipline: 2
- Intellect: 8
- Strength: 20
- Total: 64
Ophidia Spathe (Exotic Hunter armor)
Ophidia Spathe works quite nicely around builds that make heavy use of your Hunter melee ability, as you get two knives per charge. With a Solar build like the Nuclear Knife, this could work quite nicely with clearing the battlefield of red-bar enemies. The stats aren’t too bad, with the lowest one here being intellect. Recovery and discipline could be better, but mobility, resilience, and strength are pretty decent overall.
- Mobility: 12
- Resilience: 15
- Recovery: 8
- Discipline: 6
- Intellect: 6
- Strength: 19
- Total: 66
The Stag (Exotic Warlock helmet)
Rifts, rifts, and even more rifts! The Stag is all about using your Rift class ability to its fullest if you’re playing as a Warlock, as this Exotic provides a damage reduction buff to any Guardians standing in that healing or empowering pool. You’ll get Rift energy when critically wounded, and if you’re taken out, your body will leave a healing rift, making this a very good Exotic for teamwork-focused Warlocks. The stats on this roll are very nicely balanced as well, with only mobility and strength needing some possible armor mods to buff them.
- Mobility: 7
- Resilience: 14
- Recovery: 14
- Discipline: 14
- Intellect: 10
- Strength: 6
- Total: 65
Exotic Weapons
The Jade Rabbit
A very popular scout rifle in PvP, The Jade Rabbit’s Fate of All Fools perk allows you to gain bonus damage on your next body shot after you’ve chained several precision shots together. The bonus to this perk is that ammo will also be returned to the mag, making this an excellent weapon for marksmen.
- The Fate of All Fools
- Polygonal Rifling
- High-Caliber Rounds
- Zen Moment
Hawkmoon
Hawkmoon this week is neither bad nor good, hovering in an average zone with its roll this week. Killing Wind is this week’s new perk, which grants increased mobility, weapon range, and handling for a short duration after you land a final blow.
- Killing Wind
- Paracausal Shot
- Hammer-Forged Rifling
- Alloy Magazine
- Textured Grip

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
