Thanks to the Summer Game Fest, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has an official release date. We knew that the game would be coming at some point in 2023, but now gamers can mark their calendar and choose an edition of the game beforehand.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Release Date
The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 release date is October 20, 2023. We knew the game was slated for a fall release this year, and now we can get prepared for the middle of the Autumn season. Pre-orders have already opened up, and as you might expect, there are different editions that you can purchase.
Before you place your pre-order for the game, keep in mind that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a PlayStation 5 exclusive. The first game is available to play on PC, but it didn’t start that way. Gamers had to wait a couple of years before it was available for PC players, along with the Miles Morales DLC.
If you have a PlayStation 5 ready to go, then you have nothing to worry about. Anyone who wants the standard edition can expect the price to be $70, which has become the standard for most new releases on the PlayStation. On top of the Standard version, there is a Digital Deluxe edition for $80.
The most expensive edition is the Collector’s Edition, which has been set to $230. Along with the 10 unique suits included in the Deluxe Edition, the Collector’s version includes a 19-inch statue of Miles Morales and Peter Parker fighting Venom. I can tell you this statue has already grabbed my attention, but I’m also a sucker for Spider-Man.
While you wait for the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, there was also a demo announced for the Lies of P at the Summer Games Fest. I have just the guide for you on how to play the Lies of P demo to keep you entertained.
