The 2023 slate for Disney+ will kick off with the second season of animated “Star Wars” series “The Bad Batch,” which will begin streaming Jan. 4. From creator Dave Filoni, the spiritual spin-off of the popular “Clone Wars” series follows Clone Force 99 — otherwise known as the Bad Batch — a troupe of elite clone troopers with genetic mutations that take on dangerous mercenary missions. Dee Bradley Baker voices all members of the Bad Batch.
Also coming in January are more episodes of original series “Willow,” which serves as a sequel to the 1988 film of the same name. Jonathan Kasdan developed the series, which comes from executive producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer and stars Warwick Davis, Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman and Tony Revolori. The show premiered its first episode Nov. 30 and will air its final two episodes on Jan. 4 and 11.
