The 2023 Latin American Music Awards star-studded show will honor a variety of Latin music chart-toppers including Bad Bunny, Myke Towers, Anuel AA, Edén Muñoz, and Prince Royce.
Hosted at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Bad Bunny is the most recognized artist of the show, leading the list with 11 nominations, followed by Daddy Yankee and Becky G. Nominations for the awards are based on streaming, sales, radio airplay, tours, and even social media interactions data provided by Billboard and Luminate during the eligibility period (February 12, 2022, through February 4, 2023.)
As for the live shows, expect over 30 exciting and wide-ranging performances from Ángela Aguilar, Lil Jon, Justin Quiles, Banda El Recodo, and rapidly rising acts Peso Pluma, Bad Gyal, Eden Muñoz and Grupo Frontera. Anuel AA will also be performing “Más Rica Que Ayer”; newlyweds Guaynaa and Lele Pons will play a medley that includes their latest collab, “Abajito”; Towers is set to debut a new track titled “Mi Droga”; and Prince Royce will also be treating audiences to an unreleased song.
At the 8th edition of the annual award show, David Zepeda and TV presenter Chiqui Delgado will take over the red carpet as hosts alongside Rafael Araneda and Ana Patricia Gámez. They will also be joined by fashion and beauty experts Jomari Goyso and Yayis Villareal who will cover all style moments and carpet looks.
This is the first time the award show will air on Univision since TelevisaUnivision acquired the rights from Dick Clark Productions last year. TelevisaUnivision’s roster of live-music events also currently consists of Univision’s Premio Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, the Latin Grammys, and Uforia Concierto de Campeones.
