Before the Marvel multiverse collides in Avengers: Doomsday, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is getting ready to swing back into action in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The fourth installment in the MCU’s Spider-Man franchise, Brand New Day picks up after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, following Peter Parker as he begins a new chapter after the world’s memory of him was erased.

“Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city as a full-time Spider-Man. But as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced,” the film’s logline reads.
‘Super Fan Messi’
With just weeks to go until Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters, Marvel has released a new teaser for the film featuring Lionel Messi.

The brief clip finds Peter Parker sitting in a coffee shop when the Argentine icon walks in.
As it turns out, Messi is looking for Spider-Man.

After Peter tells the soccer star to hold tight for a moment, Spidey appears in the shop and takes Messi on an adventure, swinging high above New York City.

While the new clip does not provide much information about Brand New Day, it is a fun bit of cross-promotion with the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
