Later this year, Marvel will return to action on Disney+ with the release of the long-awaited Vision Quest series on Disney+ on Oct. 14, 2026. This show will bring Paul Bettany’s Vision back into live-action for the first time since 2021’s WandaVision, while also completing the trilogy of stories that includes this original show and Agatha All Along. While Marvel has taken its time promoting this series, releasing trailers only to private audiences at various conventions, the time to begin marketing this show is fast approaching.
Without his usual running mate, Elizabeth Olsen, Bettany will have a host of MCU regulars and newcomers at his side for the next chapter in Vision’s journey. This time, he will do his best to come to grips with his memories from the original Vision’s mind after having them implanted in his system in the Hex during the final episode of WandaVision. Marvel has also teased a reunion between Vision and James Spader’s Ultron, who first helped bring Bettany’s hero to life in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. Now, only about 60 days ahead of its debut, Marvel pulled back the curtain on this intriguing streaming series.
Marvel Television released the first official trailer for the new Vision Quest series ahead of its Oct. 14, 2026 debut on Disney+ at the 2026 D23 Expo. Starting with Paul Bettany’s Vision in human form before moving to his White Vision body, the trailer teases an insane story that features multiple other AI systems from the MCU in their human forms, including James Spader’s return as Ultron. As they are shown seemingly all living and working together, Vision is set for a reunion with his long-lost son Tommy Maximoff/Speed, played by Ruaridh Mollica. From there, Vision tries to regain his memories from his old body and get a handle on the people in his life.
