The images show the film’s lead casts Glen Powell and Adria Arjona in different intimate shots. The duo is pictured in a bathtub, sharing a seemingly romantic moment together while the other image show the two clutching onto each other in what appears to be a warm and affectionate embrace.
What Else To Expect From Linklater’s Hit Man
Linklater’s forthcoming action comedy is based on Skip Hollandsworth’s 2001 Texas Monthly piece of the same name. The decorated director is not a stranger to adapting one of Hollandsworth’s many works. In 2011, he directed, produced, and co-wrote Bernie, a biographical black comedy crime movie that’s also based on another one of Hollandsworth’s articles, a 1998 piece published in the Texas Monthly magazine titled “Midnight in the Garden of East Texas“. Bernie received critical acclaim for its performances, direction, and accuracy.
Along with Powell and Arjone, the cast of Hit Man is rounded out by other established actors. Confirmed for the forthcoming movie include Austin Amelio (The Walking Dead), Retta (Good Girls), Molly Bernard (Milkwater), and Mike Markoff (Temptation Under The Sun).
Richard Linklater has managed to distinguish himself as an extremely gifted director and screenwriter, producing some of the most moving and intricate movies of the last three decades. Coming off the critical acclaim he received for his last project “Apollo 10 ½: A Space Of Childhood”, and with reports of Hit Man receiving a riotous applause when it was screened at the 80th Venice International Film Festival.
