TooFar Media at this year’s Raindance Film Festival

We are extremely excited to once again feature TooFar Media across the festival! And below we are giving you a sneak peek of what you’ll discover from them, at House of Raindance and film screenings!

TooFar Media is an award-winning multimedia production company that creates immersive storytelling experiences which combine book, music, art, animation and video.

The company was founded over 20 years ago by writer, musician, lyricist and producer, Rich Shapero and works with contributors from all around the globe, including Grammy award-winning musicians and producers, mind-blowing artists and talented animators.

We’d like to give special mention to TooFar Media’s Beneath Caaqi’s Wings: An Immersive Storyworld short, premiering at HOUSE SHORTS as part of the Indie Film Forum.

TooFar Media pioneers new frontiers of storytelling, and Storyworld teases their eleventh project, Beneath Caaqi’s Wings, featuring the novel by acclaimed author Rich Shapero, stunning animated artwork from New Zealand visual artist Dean Buchanan, and entrancing Gamelan soundscapes.

Accompanied by a selection of house shorts produced by Raindance hubs around the world. (Oct 27, Vue Piccadilly, followed by drinks at House of Raindance – Wonderville)

Another amazing feature of the Indie Film Forum is our feature of TooFar Media around the space of Wonderville at Haymarket.

When you visit, be sure to experience TooFar Media’s Immersive Pod and Interactive Storyworld Experiences, when you stop through House of Raindance.

Lose yourself in their multimedia stories by enveloping yourself in their Immersive Pod, filled with content from stories that take you to other worlds.

You can also explore the storyworld of Beneath Caaqi’s Wings, where art and technology meet, by entering the immersive world of TooFar Media’s eleventh project, which combines a novel from acclaimed author Rich Shapero, stunning artwork from New Zealand artist Dean Buchanan, mind-blowing animations from Tom Cottle along with traditional Gamelan musical soundscapes.

Using some of the latest technologies including PlayCanvas, Blender, After Effects and Photoshop – TooFar Media is pioneering new frontiers for how storytelling should be experienced by converging visionary art with cutting-edge technologies, building fantastic Storyworlds that transverse wild landscapes and visionary realms that unfold views of realities which are surprising and fresh, and true at the same time.

We also highly recommend you download the TooFar Media app for eleven multimedia storytelling experiences combining book, music, art, animation and video.
