Late-night has had plenty of superstars appearing since the end of the writers strike.
But the end of the actors strike is another story.
Stars will now be able to promote films and series that were previously struck, opening the door to a slew of new bookings across The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Daily Show.
A case in point: NBC has adjusted its guests for tomorrow night’s The Tonight Show with Marvel stars Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson being added at the last minute.
The Loki star and The Marvels star are joining Eric Idle and musical guests Rick Ross and Meek Mill for the Friday show.
The pair will be able to promote their Marvel wares now with Loki’s second season finale airing tonight and The Marvels, where Larson plays Carol Danvers otherwise known as Captain Marvel, coming out in theaters this weekend.
Watch out for some more big names joining the late-night party next week and onwards.
Having said that, the late-night shows have managed to consistently book actors to either talk about non-struck work such as Brian Cox promoting Amazon reality series 007: Road To A Million or Yellowstone star Luke Grimes promoting his music on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
In fact, Jared Leto is appearing on The Tonight Show this evening, albeit likely to talk about his band 30 Seconds to Mars and him scaling the Empire State Building to announce a new tour.
Elsewhere, this evening, good timing for Hilary Duff on Late Night with Seth Meyers, who can now talk about that ending of How I Met Your Father in addition to her new book My Sweet Little Boy.
