It looks like Tom Brady won’t be making a major life change to win back Gisele Bündchen.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Bündchen had hired a divorce lawyer after months of living apart from the quarterback. At the time, a source told People that Brady was “trying to figure out what to do.”
One thing he’s not going to do? Leave the NFL. Despite previously admitting that time away from his family has caused tension in his marriage, Brady says he’s remaining loyal…to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. “I love the sport, I love the teammates, and I want to go do a good job for this team like I always have,” he said during a recent press conference. “So, no retirement in my future.”

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have been married since 2009 and share two children: 12-year-old Benjamin and nine-year-old Vivian. He also has a 15-year-old son named Jack from a previous relationship. Rumors of a rift between the couple began after Brady changed his mind about retiring from football.
“Obviously, I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” Bündchen told Elle in her October issue cover story. “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy too.”
More recently, however, Bündchen seemed to confirm her frustrations with a subtle, yet pointed Instagram comment. On October 11, the supermodel replied to Instagram quote from 8 Rules of Love by Jay Shetty with the advice, “You can’t be in a committed relationship with someone who is inconsistent with you. Read that again.” Bündchen responded with a prayer emoji.
