The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is constantly expanding, bringing new heroes and villains into the fold. As a Marvel fan myself, I personally can’t wait for Thunderbolts to arrive.
The upcoming film will see the creation of a new Marvel superhero team but with a twist.

The Thunderbolts are made up of Marvel anti-heroes, many of them former villains. Led by Bucky Barnes, the team includes Yelena Belova, John Walker, Taskmasker, Red Guardian, and Ghost.
While the upcoming film will bring back a group of fan-favorite characters, it will also feature new additions to the MCU.
Joins the MCU
Ayo Edebiri, for example, will be making her MCU debut in Thunderbolts, although the role she is playing is still unknown.
While being careful not to give away too many details, Edebiri discussed her excitement about finally entering the MCU, and what she learned from her co-stars.

“I love being a sponge. I just want to learn as much as possible. I’m excited [for ‘Thunderbolts’] because I don’t know; and to me, that’s cool. I feel like those are always the situations that I’ve benefited from the most. If I don’t know what I’m going to learn, that’s the best possible scenario for me,” Edebiri said.
Edibiri has had a busy year. In addition to her role in the critically acclaimed TV drama, The Bear, the actress voiced April in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and starred in the new comedy Theater Camp. Now, she will get a chance to flex her muscles in a new genre.

When Will ‘Thunderbolts’ Hit Theaters.
Thunderbolts is still currently expected to hit theaters on December 20, 2024.
The film’s release date, however, could be affected by the ongoing Hollywood strikes. Production on Thunderbolts shut down in May.
