Kangana Ranaut is not dating Chirag Paswan
Actress and politician Kangana Ranaut, who is quite active on social media, never shies away from expressing her opinions on various issues. She often makes headlines for her controversial statements. In a fresh interview, the actress chose to shut down speculations about her equation with Miley Na Miley Hum co-star and fellow politician Chirag Paswan. In 2024, the two took social media by storm after they were seen sharing a light-hearted moment in Delhi while arriving at Parliament. Now, Kangana has talked about her equation with him and denied any romantic angle between them.
In an interview with ANI, Kangana Ranaut was asked about the online buzz around their supposed “romance.” The actress vehemently denied the claims and said that he is just a friend. She said, “No, no, Chirag is a friend. When I see him, I think of a friend. There’s no romance happening, let me be honest. We know each other for like… He did his film with me 10 years ago.”
She went on to say that if they had been in a relationship, they would have had children by now. Kangana added, “Agar romance hota toh aaj humare bachche hotey (If it wasn’t then… If it was romance, then today we would have had children).”
She further added, “If I wanted to have romance, then it would have happened. It’s not happening. You know, like, it’s just that… that friendly vibe, you know, which you get from somebody who, who’s just kind of your, you know, your type as in like he, he’s from also in a way from film industry. So I feel very good around him.”
Kangana and Chirag worked together in a film titled Miley Na Miley Hum, directed by Tanveer Khan. The 2011 film marked Chirag Paswan’s debut, with Kangana playing the female lead. It also stars Neeru Bajwa and Sagarika Ghatge.
Meanwhile, Kangana, who was last seen in Emergency, is gearing up for her next film, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata. She also has a Film with R Madhavan, marking their reunion after the Tanu Weds Manu films.
