The US Government Is Declassifying More Mysterious UFO Videos

As part of a recent Pentagon briefing into UFOs, now officially known as UAPs or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, the US Government has declassified two new videos of such phenomena. One, captured by a Reaper drone, shows a flying metallic orb that was spotted in the Middle East last year.

The videos were presented by Sean Kirkpatrick, head of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office that was established last year to investigate evidence of UAPs. Sightings are up, with the office now tracking over 650 cases, and tension around UAPs are high after multiple unidentified objects were shot down over the US and Canada earlier this year.

Despite the increase in activity, Kirkpatrick says his office has so far found no evidence of extraterrestrial activity. As reported by Politico, he told the Senate Armed Services Committee that “AARO has found no credible evidence thus far of extraterrestrial activity, off-world technology or objects that defy the known laws of physics.”

“Only a very small percentage of UAP reports display signatures that could reasonably be described as anomalous,” he explained. “The majority of unidentified objects reported to AARO demonstrated mundane characteristics of balloons, clutter, natural phenomena or other readily explainable sources.”

A second declassified video shown in the presentation analyses an object spotted in South Asia. This sighting has been resolved pending peer review, with AARO determining that the object was a commercial aircraft. Kirkpatrick said that around half the UAP reports presented to his office have been prioritised for review, with 20-30 currently undergoing analysis, and just a handful having been peer-reviewed and closed. He warns that many cases will likely go unresolved due to a lack of evidence

The first metallic sphere video may be one of those, with Kirkpatrick saying “it is going to be impossible to fully identify that, just based off of that video.” A note on the slide displayed with the video adds that the UAP displays “characteristics consistent with other ‘metallic orb’ observations in the area.”
