Apple TV+’s new docuseries The Super Models is a celebration of the ways in which Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington dominated and revolutionized the fashion industry decades ago. Through contemporary interviews, archival footage, and more than a couple iconic photoshoots, The Super Models transports 2023 viewers back to the days when everything was shot on film, magazines were major, and glamazons ruled the runways. Besides recapturing the spirit of the late ’80s and early ’90s, the series also subtly reappraises the narratives we’d come to assume about these four iconic women.
