Since The Other Two premiered in 2019 it’s become one of television’s most precious gems. Full of cutting satire, relentless pop culture references, a sparkling roster of celebrity guest stars, and delightfully absurdist humor, Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider’s Max comedy is in a class all its own. Season 3 raises the bar week after week, but Episode 8, “Brooke Hosts a Night of Undeniable Good,” made me scream in horror, glee, and pure adoration no less than 20 times. On top of stellar performances from Heléne Yorke and Drew Tarver, one of the greatest TV episodes of the year features a telethon for mental health, an eventful high school reunion, yet another iconic gay anthem, an elaborate plan to chloroform Ben Platt, a special treat for Josh Segarra fans, and so much more. Now more than ever before, The Other Two is must-see TV.
