The Other Two is only three episodes into its highly-anticipated third season, but there’s no doubt in my mind that the incisive comedy — created, written, and executive produced by former Saturday Night Live head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider — will make my Top 10 best shows of 2023 list. Season 3 serves the signature showbiz satire, nuanced humor, and sharp pop culture references that fans crave, while exploring deeper storylines that will make your heart ache. Heléne Yorke and Drew Tarver remain one of television’s most iconic duos. Molly Shannon is pure joy. Case Walker, Ken Marino, and Wanda Sykes are true treats. Brandon Scott Jones takes Curtis to new heights. And Josh Segarra continues to dazzle by showcasing Lance’s incredible range. Between creative celebrity cameos (Dylan O’Brien simply takes a shower) and jokes that will make you cackle to powerful performances that hit all the right notes and unique executions you can’t find anywhere else on TV, The Other Two just keeps getting better.
