You can’t go wrong with ’70s horror, and you really can’t go wrong with a classic like The Omen. Directed by the legendary Richard Donner, The Omen asks the question, “Would you kill your kid if all signs pointed to him being the Antichrist?” Like all the best ’70s horror movies, The Omen plays psychological games with the viewer while hypnotizing them with stylized visuals, international locales, and unhinged performances. You’ve never seen Gregory Peck as manic as this — and also it’s just nice to look at handsome Gregory Peck wearing fantastic fall outfits for close to two hours. The Omen has a lot going for it besides all the legendary scares!
