The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is taking its final bow in 2023, and before its fifth and final season premieres on Prime Video April 14 we highly suggest a Season 4 rewatch. The penultimate season of Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino’s winsome period dramedy takes characters and viewers alike on an emotional roller coaster Wonder Wheel. We open with Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) scraping herself off an airport tarmac after being booted from Shy Baldwin’s tour and work our way to a wild night out at Carnegie Hall, where Lenny Bruce (Luke Kirby) dishes out some tough love. Though Season 4 wasn’t a favorite amongst fans, its eight episodes are still packed with signature wit, speedy dialogue, eye-grabbing aesthetics, fabulous 60s fashion, and delightful cameos. Brosnahan, Kirby, Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, and more give stellar performances, and fans will want Season 4’s highs and lows fresh in mind for the farewell season.
