The Klur Supreme Seed Face Mask Gave Me the Smoothest Skin Ever

I was first introduced to the Klur Supreme Seed Face Mask last fall, when my friend Brandon Blackwood encouraged me to give the purification treatment a try. He already used and loved it, and he insisted I would too.

At first I was hesitant. I’m not the kind of person who can just add a whole step to my skin care routine. My skin is infamously difficult—red, irritated, and angry, yet simultaneously overreactive and sensitive. If a product has the word purification in its name, I tend to steer clear; using an “intense” mask always leaves my skin aggravated. But I knew Brandon wouldn’t lead me or my skin astray, and decided to trust the process.

Countless applications later, I’m happy to report that he was correct. I immediately fell in love with the Klur Supreme Seed Face Mask, and it has quickly become my favorite part of my skin care routine.

Klur Supreme Seed is somehow both powerful and gentle. It purifies and decongests the skin without drying or stressing it out like so many clay masks I’ve tried before. In fact, Supreme Seed specifically resets and restores balance in skin that’s easily aggravated (like mine)‚ thanks to a soothing and red-reducing blend of panthenol, calendula, and cacao, and kaolin clay.

It’s common to use clay in face masks, and kaolin clay has been found to help treat acne, increase collagen, curb excess oil, and provide anti-inflammatory properties. In the past, other clays like bentonite and Aztec clay have been too harsh for me—so much so that my skin would start cracking once I removed the mask.

Kaolin has proven to be much more delicate. I can use Klur Supreme Seed several times a week, and my skin has never become dry or irritated. Plus, it eradicates breakouts and blemishes in one application. I always apply it at night, and the next morning my skin is clear, smooth, soft, dewy, and glowing. I pretty much look like I have an IRL filter, and the little makeup I do wear goes on significantly more smoothly. Really, the only “problem” I have is that the cacao makes the mask smell so good, I want to eat it every time I put it on. That said, I think the end result makes the temptation worth it.

After a few months of devout usage, I decided to put the mask to the real test and brought it with me on vacation—a hot, humid, and tropical one—which, for me, is usually is a recipe for a skin disaster. The combination of planes, face masks, sunscreen, sweat, and ocean water makes my skin blotchy, greasy, and completely broken out. This time, however, I thought I’d try something new and use the Supreme Seed Face Mask before leaving, during the trip, and immediately upon my return.
