There was no telling the impact Taylor Swift would have with the Eras Tour. It’s not just with tickets or fandom, though.
Rather, the Eras Tour has changed one aspect of going to a concert a lot of us never thought of and that’s our outfits. I remember when I used to go to a Jonas Brothers concert and I’d just grab a Jonas Brothers t-shirt and a pair of jeans.
However, if you’re headed to a concert, The Eras Tour, or otherwise, you’re not going to be picking up what you’ve been reaching for in the past. Now, things have changed for those attending a concert and it’s all about your look.
While not everyone adheres to these rules, there are so many pictures and videos that prove just how much concert fashion has changed since the start of the Eras Tour.

Of course, not everyone has to get dressed up for a concert. Some people are just there to enjoy their favorite artists. However, others are using it as a way to show up and show out which is amazing. If you’re going by the Eras Tour, there are plenty of options to tackle.
With Taylor Swift in particular, people have been recreating looks from her album covers, past performances, or even, candid photos. While it isn’t always going to be an exact match, you’re able to find something similar. Of course, fans at the concert will always recognize what you’re going for and be excited.
The Eras Tour proved you don’t always need to recreate Taylor’s look but rather be inspired by something else. Maybe you love a certain era and decided to dress like that as some people are dressing in pastel dresses for Lover while others are wearing purple for Speak Now. Either way, it’s something fun to showcase your love for a particular album.
Outfits aren’t the only fashion trend coming out of the Eras Tour. Friendship bracelets are now becoming a mainstay at concerts. I’ve seen people in various Facebook groups for concerts talking about friendship bracelets. It’s so awesome to see people embracing this trend and deciding to do it for other artists.
Of course, we can’t deny the impact of Taylor Swift herself. I don’t know about you but I think it’s so amazing to see how passionate Taylor’s fans are. There is so much hype around the Eras Tour and Taylor’s performance which is deserved. The concert outfits are just a small piece of magic Taylor Swift has given her fans.
Ultimately, I’m excited to see how other concerts end up looking due to the Eras Tour. As someone who is going to see the Jonas Brothers in September, I’m curious how fans will be dressed. Of course, that’s for another post but we can’t deny the Eras Tour has forever changed what concert fashion looks like.
