The “Bachelor” Zach – Finale Thoughts, Charity’s Filming, Zach on the Hot Seat Last Night, & Your Daily Roundup – Reality Steve

One season ends, another one begins. Literally. For the first time in 15 years, the “Bachelorette” has begun filming before the “Bachelor” ended airing. Not sure if that’s gonna be the norm going forward. We’ll have to wait and see. But I think we’ll know based on the start date of the “Bachelor” next January. If it’s not the first Monday in January (which I don’t expect it to be due to NFL Wild Card Playoff games on ABC), then unless they push “Bachelorette” filming back, this could possibly be our new norm. After watching last night, of course everyone is clamoring for a season of Gabi as the “Bachelorette” due to what she had to go through on stage, which I’ll cover later on today. It’s a whole other discussion. But with this season over, and another correct spoiler that you had on Feb. 6th, just two episodes into the season, I think I can say I’m just relieved now I don’t have to hear any more from TikTok gossip mongers, or IG accounts thinking they have a spoiler 2 months ahead of time, etc. As we head into next season, that’s my plea to all of you. Never send me anything that those people say ever again. It’s pointless. I don’t care what other sites say. Ever. If I did, wouldn’t I have released this seasons spoiler earlier than Feb. 6th? When I hear from my sources, that’s when you’ll get your info. Not when mostly nameless, faceless people with zero track record claim to have all these sources and they all end up being wrong. As I always say, you know where to get your spoilers. I’m not going anywhere, and I’m going to be right way more often than I’m not. Another successful season.

Get your “Reader Emails” in today for tomorrow’s column because it’ll be the last one until June 28th, which is the first Wednesday of Charity’s season (more on that in a bit). I’m sure you’ve got thoughts, comments, questions, stemming from what we saw last night, so email me at [email protected] today and your email will make tomorrow’s column.

(SPOILERS) Today’s Daily Roundup covers last night’s finale, putting a final pin in the Barstool Ria story, Gabi dealing with a lot on stage, reminding you who is behind all of this, and more on Charity’s season filming from yesterday.

Speaking of Charity, we did get some information from the show in regards to her season start date. It’s going to premiere on Monday, June 26th, AND the show will air an hour later than usual next season, going on at 9/8 central. Not sure the reason to push back an hour. Maybe they have a new show on ABC they want to debut. Or maybe they want to push the envelope a little more and get risqué in the 10:00 hour. Who knows? It’s definitely gonna be a change, as quite a few of you have already told me that’s too late for you and you’ll be in bed before 11:00 so you won’t finish it until the next day. Will be interesting to see how much change there is to the ratings by starting an hour later next season.

As for Charity’s season that’s already begun filming, she started episode 3 yesterday and had a 1-on-1 date in San Diego with Brayden Bowers. They took a helicopter to PetCo Park in San Diego, got to have a picnic on the field and play with golden retrievers. Not a bad day to say the least. I posted all videos and pics from yesterday’s date on Twitter and my IG story. Here they are in case you missed them:

Did you see that last night broke a bit of a trend when it came to last dates? Usually the woman who gets the first “last date” ends up not winning. 8 of the last 10 seasons to be exact. But that changed last night as Zach had his last date with Kaity before Gabi (at least that’s the way it was shown), and we know Kaity ended up winning. @BachelorData breaks it all down for you:

Thoughts on last night begins on Page 2…
