On September 16, the 36-year-old actor and 33-year-old pop star were photographed out on the town in New York City. In photos shared by People, the friends could be seen leaving celebrity hotspot Zero Bond in mismatched aesthetics. Lively dressed herself in bright colors, pairing a pink and white tweed skirt with a graphic t-shirt and mixed denim shirt with colorful patchwork lining. She topped the eclectic look with patterned heels and a quilted denim Chanel purse.
Meanwhile, Swift rocked a nearly all-black ensemble, matching a black button-up cardigan with a dark grey pleated miniskirt and mahogany red calf-length boots. Both women wore their thick blonde hair down in loose waves, making them look more like sisters than longtime friends, though Swift once again rocked the single mini braid that has sent her fans back into detective mode. While they may not look like they’re dressed for the same place, Blake Lively and Taylor Swift both leaned heavily into their current tastes, with Lively taking her love of pastels and playful patterns to the ultimate extreme while Swift continues to be influenced by the New England prep-school uniform.
