Tales of The Jedi and 4 Other Trailers You Missed

Today’s trailer roundup includes Netflix’s Entergalactic and Patton Oswalt: We All Scream, Disney+’s Star Wars: Tales of The Jedi, Marvel Studios Werewolf By Night and Big Shot Season 2.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi premieres on Disney+ on Oct. 26. The show is made of six brand-new animated shorts featuring parables built around Jedi from the prequel era. The series follows two distinctly different Jedi—Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku—put to the test as they make choices that will define their destinies. The series is created by executive producer Dave Filoni, with Carrie Beck and Athena Portillo serving as executive producers.

Marvel Studio’s first-ever special presentation, Werewolf By Night, streams on Disney+ on Oct. 7. Based on the Marvel comic book, Gael Garcia Bernal plays Jack Russell, a descendant of humans known as Lycanthropes. The black and white shot special is directed by Oscar-winning musical composer Michael Giacchino (The Incredibles, Star Trek).

John Stamos returns for a second season of Disney+’s Big Shot on Oct. 12. Marvyn Korn (Stamos) returns to Westbrook to show that his basketball team belongs in D-2 and that he’s still the championship-winning, powerhouse coach he was in the NCAA. Marvyn’s latest plan toward relevance is to get his team broadcast on ESPN and his method is to recruit an unlikely player: Ava (Sara Echeagaray), a gutsy beach volleyball phenom whose public tantrum got her ousted from her own sport.

Entergalactic comes to Netflix on Sept. 30. Jabari (Kid Cudi) attempts to balance love and success when he meets his new neighbor, photographer Meadow (Jessica Williams). Entergalactic fuses art, music and fashion that takes place in New York City. The cast includes Ty Dolla $ign, Timothée Chalamet, Laura Harrier, Vanessa Hudgens, Christopher Abbott, 070 Shake, Jaden Smith, Keith David, Teyana Taylor, Arturo Castro and Macaulay Culkin.

Patton Oswalt is back with his fourth Netflix special, We All Scream, on Sept. 20. Oswalt discusses what happens to our bodies as we get older, who he could have been had he just followed the list he created during the lockdown, the Baby Boomer’s last temper tantrum and much more.
