Leave it to Donald Glover and Janine Nabers to quietly drop one of the wildest and weirdest shows on television that straddles the line between brilliant and schlocky horror. A boldly transparent take on Beyoncè and the BeyHive, Swarm follows one fan (Dominique Fishback) whose love of a music icon takes her from fanatic to mass murderer. Sickly funny, this Prime Video original is packed with stellar performances from Damson Idris, Chloe Bailey, Billie Eilish, and Kiersey Clemons. But it’s Fishback’s performance that stands heads and shoulders above the rest. With one look, Fishback will disturb you to you core, and yet you’ll still root for her to bash in one more skull.
