Every now and then you find yourself in the mood to cozy up with a classic film noir. If you’re looking to scratch that itch, set your streaming sights on Billy Wilder’s legendary film Sunset Boulevard. Now streaming on Paramount+ (and Pluto TV for free!), the iconic movie follows a screenwriter (William Holden) who develops a dangerous relationship with a delusional former silent film star (Gloria Swanson) determined to make a triumphant return to the spotlight. Clever writing and dazzling performances from Holden, Swanson, and Nancy Olson combine to make this movie a must-watch in any era. Some classics don’t hold up, but Sunset Boulevard remains an all-time great.
