According to the review aggregator Metacritic, Street Fighter 6 has received the following Metascores as of this writing:

- (There are currently no ratings for the PS4 version of Street Fighter 6)
Based on its review scores, Street Fighter 6 has catapulted its way into the “game of the year” conversation, as Capcom’s historic fighting game currently rates eighth in the history of the PS5, as well as ranking 16th place all-time for the Xbox Series X|S. Furthermore, Street Fighter 6 has supplanted its fellow Capcom-developed counterpart Resident Evil 4 to become the highest-rated game for PC on Metacritic in 2023.
