Sony’s 10-year Call of Duty deal is limited to CoD

*Fact: third party industry is now smaller in quantity of IP and even moreso in terms of considered market power.*

Fact: Microsoft first party is now bigger in quantity and still available across all platforms. New games from ABK may give MS the advantage they need to now compete against Sony.

*Fact: Internal FPS now compete with the biggest shooter on the market for players, sales, and release dates.*

How is that even a bad thing?? “Oh no, we have to compete against the number one shooter that my company owns!” How did Halo or any other FPS survive before when CoD was out there and third party?

*And Days Gone 2 wasn’t greenlit because of nothing to do with profit potential in comparison to other IPs*

Hot damn that reach! Yeah because Days Gone is definitely a powerhouse IP like Halo right? You tell me right now if MS were to announce Infinity Ward is developing (or even co-developing) the next Halo, that wouldn’t send the gaming industry/media in a drop of blood in the ocean feeding frenzy.

@KicknSnare
*Microsoft should let id Software or Call of Duty studio take over the Halo franchise. Let 343 work on a new IP*

That would be, interesting. I definitely agree with 343 working on something new

@Markdn
*Your delusional m8 if you think you benifit from this. A typical lamb.*

How will I not personally benefit from it then? Please enlighten me.
