Shah Rukh Khan reunited with his Devdas co-star Jackie Shroff at CM Eknath Shinde’s Ganpati puja on Sunday.
Shah Rukh Khan has been busy basking in the record-breaking success of his latest release, Jawan. The Atlee directorial film was released earlier this month and has entered the Rs. 1000 crore club in less than 30 days. However, the actor is now making headlines for his appearance at Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s residence for Ganpati puja on Sunday. The puja was a star-studded event, but what excited netizens was the actor’s reunion with his Devdas co-star Jackie Shroff.
Shah Rukh looked dapper in a royal blue kurta with a white salwar. He completed the look by tying his hair in his signature ponytail. She bumped into Jackie Shroff on his way to the Ganpati idol and planted a kiss on his cheek. Jackie wore a similar outfit to Shah Rukh’s ensemble but styled it with a yellow bandana and a white stole with blue accents. The two actors indulged in a quick conversation as they laughed and posed for the paparazzi.
Fans of the actors took to the comments section to express their appreciation. One Shah Rukh fan wrote, “He is so fine at the age of 56.” Another added, “Mashallah srk❤️” A fan of Jackie Shroff commented, “Jaggu bhai”
Besides Jackie, Shah Rukh also reunited with Salman Khan as the superstars posed with CM Eknath Shinde. This left their fans excited for their likely joint feature in the upcoming film Tiger Vs Pathaan.
While there were initial reports of Aditya Chopra planning a joint script narration session for Salman and Shah Rukh, it was recently reported that the story was presented to them individually during separate meetings over a month ago.
DNA quoted a source as saying, “Tiger vs Pathaan’s script is locked after the two mega-stars of Hindi cinema gave their nod to the script. This film is a huge milestone moment because it sees the two giants of Indian cinema to come together for a full-fledged film after their box office juggernaut Karan Arjun.”
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is currently seen in Jawan. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra among others. Shah Rukh’s long time co-star Deepika Padukone also has an extended cameo in the film.
