Selena Gomez Ditches One-Piece Summer in the Perfect Barbiecore Bikini

Selena Gomez just rocked the perfect pink bikini for your next trip to Barbieland.

Prior to her recent boat trip, Gomez was one of the many celebs embracing One-Piece Summer in 2023, rolling up to bestie Nicola Peltz Beckham’s pool in a smocked mocha swimsuit with a scoop neck and low back. Now, she’s serving another round of swimspo in a look that couldn’t be more different. On July 29, the 31-year-old pop star traded in her neutral one-piece for a pale pink adjustable two-piece, featuring a balconette bikini top and high-waisted belted bottoms, which she paired with subtle gold jewelry and some ripped-up overalls. 

The Rare Beauty mogul let her hair down and went makeup-free in a series of fun photos and videos from her latest summer adventure. Even her manicure matched her suit, making me think that her birthday screening of Barbie really stuck with the “Lose You to Love Me” singer. Clearly, her job is Boat…and Pop Star…and Hollywood…and Business. Maybe we just call her Quadrupal Threat Barbie?

When things got a bit too windy—as they tend to do on boats—Gomez just threw on a white cloth headband and kept the pics coming. 

Selena Gomez recently rang in her 31st birthday, kicking off her next rotation around the sun by extending an olive branch to former friend and kidney donor, Francia Raisa. The actors have been close friends since 2007 but appeared to have a public falling out in November 2022 when Gomez referred to Taylor Swift as her “only friend in the industry” in a Rolling Stone interview. According to screenshots of an Instagram comments section, Raisa thought this was “interesting” and unfollowed the pop star. 

Eight months later, Gomez shared an Instagram tribute to Raisa on the How I Met Your Father star’s own birthday, writing, “Happiest of birthdays to this special human being. No matter where life takes us, I love you.”
